It is a confirmation of knowing you are on the right path when people you know, who are heavily involved in the occult, criticize you behind your back for not celebrating Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc.

I'll just have to take your word on that...my own experiences have been with 'professing christians' NOT so SUBTLY telling lies and making false accusations about me. But, as you say, it does give one the opportunity to experience that which is promised to those who chose to follow Christ...PERSECUTION

"Remember the Word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you..." John 15:20

"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." II Timothy 3:12

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,”
