Here is an update on the revival in Daphne, Alabama. A couple months ago I was asked what I knew about this revival, and at the time I knew nothing about it. So I began to check it out and mentioned it a couple weeks ago in passing. I watched a few YouTube clips about it and lost interest. Last night I watched the service live on God TV streaming USA and how strange it was that the woman who was reported to be healed and raised from her wheelchair( of 22 years) in August was on there to give testimony and praise for her healing. Her name is Delia Knox and she's married to a 'bishop' and actually she is called 'lady Delia'...(I don't know if that's a British thing or just something within their denomination); anyway, there are videos on YouTube of what happened on (i think) August 22.

Last night I watched as they worshipped The Lord(and it was reverent and seemed Spirit led) and the evangelist, Nathan Morris gave all glory and praise unto Jesus.I saw nothing that I witnessed in watching video of Lakeland/Bentley. One person did refer to John Kilpatrick as an apostle(the bishop did) and some were 'slain in the spirit'. But the thing that touched my heart was when the woman, Delia Knox, came out and lead about 15 minutes of praise(I found out later that she is a worship leader and singer) giving ALL praise and glory to Jesus as her healer. She still walked with a bit of uneaseness(but remember she was wheelchair bound for 22 years and her leg muscles had totally atrophied). She walked around in heels and lead everyone in worship. She also was straight forward in her testimony, saying that she had had periods of time of the 22 years when she'd more or less given up on God healing her and described what has happened to her since August of this year. She spoke of how the healing has been progressive, in that God didn't supernaturally manifest the muscles of her legs, how she had to slowly relearn to walk and build them back to strenght.

Is this the real thing? Is God really healing people? I saw nothing that indicated (to me) that her testimony wasn't real; nor did I discern anything at work that would lead me to believe it was false. I only have this one hour and half look at it but I'm going to watch again tonight and in time to hear the evangelist preach(I believe they are going to start on God TV at 5:00 pm CST.)5:30 pm update... Sorry, I must have misunderstood or they canceled...Well the next time they're broadcasting it live I'll watch... I'm really interested to hear him, to see if he points people to faith in Jesus in his message and not what we've witnessed so much of in the past with Lakeland, Brownsville, Toronto, and Kansas City. I will say this, it took only a couple of minutes to quickly discern Lakeland/Bentley was not being lead of The Lord...I got no major red flags last night(but like I said, I haven't heard Morris preach yet...) I reserve the right to change my mind. Rolling Eyes
I pray to never become so jaded by what goes on in christianity that's fake, that I can't rejoice with someone when it really is God...That is a real possibility, we (I) must keep our hearts with all diligence.

Here's the link to the YouTube video of Delia Knox's healing. ( and there are other video's available to watch...I'd imagine that soon the testimony from last night will be on there.)
