Moses was a man of God. He was trained over many years for his work, He was faithful. God and he were so close that it said of him that no one was like him for he knew God face to face. His work was almost flawless, he was humble and obedient. He was very wise and well educated. Today I would think he would have a every degree if he went to coledge. He loved and cared for his people, and there was no question that he functioned as a prophet. He was also slow of speech, and could become angry. All men of God in the bible we see included their weaknesses. He disobeyed in a area important to God , he smote the rock twice which meant spiritually that Christ would be smitten more than once he being the rock of our salvation. Well that caused him to be told he will not be going into the land of promise. Deut. 3:25-26 Though this be sad it is still wonderful the fellowship He and God are having it is very personal. We all should long for this fellowship. I have found that this is very real and is on the increase in my life. Well I have good news for you. After the Lord buries Moses in the ground himself, in a place where he can't be found and worshipped, the story doesn't end. The man of God may have made a mistake-- some ministers make mistakes and we may not know what they are. We don't hear of anyone saying Moses made a mistake so all that he did or taught us was not the truth. Moses exhibits great faith. We wouldn't say his faith message must not be true since he died. Moses legacy remains with us today with a tremendous record of faithfulness. tainted with a mistake he is still a prophet of God just like our Jesus, he is a type Deut. 18:15. In Matt. 17:3-4 Moses was resurected and stands at the side of Jesus. in the transfiguration. we can't wait on him to return again, so we must pray that God raises up prophets in this end time. My understanding is if your called to be a prophet you still have to confess a promise then you are a prophet. meaning you are a prophet by faith, it would be a negative confession to hide it. If you are a prophet then say you are. Same as me saying I am blessed though circumstances are contradictory. love that Hab.3:17.

faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.
