The Scorner...or scoffer or mocker

The scorner is a proud and arrogant person who acts with overbearing pride and prejudice.

Proverbs 21:24 "Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath."

The scorner is beyond correction.

Proverbs 9:7-8 "He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.

Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee."

Divine judgment and punishment await the scorner.

Proverbs 19:29 "Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools."

The scoffer, scorner, mocker is a negative influence on others.

Proverbs 22:10 "Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease."

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,”
