Hi all. I am not sure how this works (my son Micah would be groaning at my gaps in computer knowledge...he taught me all I know ten years ago when he was 17, and I've only amplified on it according to need...), but here goes. I'm a single-again woman in my mid-fifties. Our family went to FA part of the '70s and '80s (six years), had three of our children with a wonderful midwife (God directed us to a specific one) there, and learned a whole heap that has made my life a wonderful adventure with God. I've also been through many trials, including losing a daughter (seven months pregnant) and my Dad in an auto accident while there...as well as some other things. I might add that while there (and beyond) the Lord supernaturally healed me of several serious accident-induced injuries.

One example of my life now: in 2007 my small company was bought out, and they didn't need me anymore--friends and I prayed, and God had a Christian friend I've known fourteen years ask me if I wanted a job since his administrative assistant was quitting suddenly. I quit the job I'd had for six and a half years on June 8th, started on June 11th without losing a day of pay, and now work four days a week instead of five, bring home more pay and have more vacation than before! (God also had some people from church give me a car just a month before I needed it to get to the new job... .)

So that's me in a nutshell. I've experienced both good and bad at Faith Assembly, and I'm still working things out with doctrine and my walk with God, but He's brought me this far and I truly have been 'capturedbygrace.' I'm looking forward to jumping in on a truthful but positive (positive in the sense that if done with the right attitude, participation here can help with healing--and that's positive!) forum re FA and who knows what else--thanks for letting me on Overcomers Online!
