Here is an update on the revival in Daphne, Alabama. A couple months ago I was asked what I knew about this revival, and at the time I knew nothing about it. So I began to check it out and mentioned it a couple weeks ago in passing. I watched a few YouTube clips about it and lost interest. Last night I watched the service live on God TV streaming USA and how strange it was that the woman who was reported to be healed and raised from her wheelchair( of 22 years) in August was on there to give testimony and praise for her healing. Her name is Delia Knox and she's married to a 'bishop' and actually she is called 'lady Delia'...(I don't know if that's a British thing or just something within their denomination); anyway, there are videos on YouTube of what happened on (i think) August 22.

Last night I watched as they worshipped The Lord(and it was reverent and seemed Spirit led) and the evangelist, Nathan Morris gave all glory and praise unto Jesus.I saw nothing that I witnessed in watching video of Lakeland/Bentley. One person did refer to John Kilpatrick as an apostle(the bishop did) and some were 'slain in the spirit'. But the thing that touched my heart was when the woman, Delia Knox, came out and lead about 15 minutes of praise(I found out later that she is a worship leader and singer) giving ALL praise and glory to Jesus as her healer. She still walked with a bit of uneaseness(but remember she was wheelchair bound for 22 years and her leg muscles had totally atrophied). She walked around in heels and lead everyone in worship. She also was straight forward in her testimony, saying that she had had periods of time of the 22 years when she'd more or less given up on God healing her and described what has happened to her since August of this year. She spoke of how the healing has been progressive, in that God didn't supernaturally manifest the muscles of her legs, how she had to slowly relearn to walk and build them back to strenght.

Is this the real thing? Is God really healing people? I saw nothing that indicated (to me) that her testimony wasn't real; nor did I discern anything at work that would lead me to believe it was false. I only have this one hour and half look at it but I'm going to watch again tonight and in time to hear the evangelist preach(I believe they are going to start on God TV at 5:00 pm CST.)5:30 pm update... Sorry, I must have misunderstood or they canceled...Well the next time they're broadcasting it live I'll watch... I'm really interested to hear him, to see if he points people to faith in Jesus in his message and not what we've witnessed so much of in the past with Lakeland, Brownsville, Toronto, and Kansas City. I will say this, it took only a couple of minutes to quickly discern Lakeland/Bentley was not being lead of The Lord...I got no major red flags last night(but like I said, I haven't heard Morris preach yet...) I reserve the right to change my mind. Rolling Eyes
I pray to never become so jaded by what goes on in christianity that's fake, that I can't rejoice with someone when it really is God...That is a real possibility, we (I) must keep our hearts with all diligence.

Here's the link to the YouTube video of Delia Knox's healing. ( and there are other video's available to watch...I'd imagine that soon the testimony from last night will be on there.)

Looks real to me!

I think this kind of thing is going to happen more and more as Jesus is
lifted up.

Why don't you drive down and give us an eyewitness account? <grin>

Blessings,
William

Thanks Brother,

I wondered what happened to it last night, when they went off air Thursday night he just announced they would come on at 5:00 pm Friday and I just assumed it too would be on God TV...Wrong assumption.<smile>

I wasn't aware they had their own web site with live feeds. I had only watched the one night (Thursday on God TV) and saw the testimony of Delia Knox. Now I see they have the messages archived on video. If you're interested go back and watch Thursday Nov 11, you'll be blessed, especially after watching the YouTube video of her getting out of the wheelchair in August.

I personally don't need to hear of or see, miracles, signs, or wonders to believe. But I praise God and rejoice that those who need them (healings) are receiving and not being lead astray and deceived by counterfeit manifestations. I hope that doesn't sound like I think I don't have need of ANYTHING from God...I DO...I just don't need PROOF of His power and presence in the form of signs and miracles...I BELIEVE.

Let God arise and His enemies be scattered.

It's not my place or calling to declare whether or not this is a true revival or not. I hope and pray that the healings are real and the people are being touched by God. I still haven't been able to hear Nathan Morris preach live yet(maybe I'll go back and watch one of the archived meetings with him preaching).

Maybe people(especially leadership) are just so entrenched in doing things 'man's way', that they don't percieve of how they're quenching The Spirit(that's making the assumption that The Holy Spirit is there).

Today John Kilpatrick announced(right after he announced for everyone to come PAY their tithes and give offerings) that they were going to be closed for a few weeks in early December so everyone would have time to shop for christmas and attend parties. (yes, it's true, nothing stands in the way of mans pagan holidays) Also the revival will be shut down in February because of mardi gras and all the hotels and motels being taken up by revelers. (I take from that that they know in advance that God will still be present in 'the revival' at that future date?)

Again, as I said before, it's not my calling to decide for others, may those attending seeking from God, find the genuine and not something manufactured of man. And if it's not, may their eyes be opened to truth.

I don't profess to know it all, and I am sure that God will not allow Himself to be put in a box...but at the same time I just can't see Him calling timeout for the celebration of a pagan holiday and then resuming with the anointing when folks are done partying. In my spirit all I could think of was Matthew 7:22.

May God arise and His enemies be scattered...

DeDelia Knox was in a wheelchair for 22 or 23 years.
In the last weeks (in August???)) she got up and walked in a revival.

Since then she has been quoted as refusing to tell the details of her condition.

------------------------------------
CNN article referencing that she refused to talk details

"Now, again, there's been no medical explanation of why she's able to walk now.
Delia Knox didn't want to talk about what her doctor or physical therapist think,
and she wouldn't go into detail about the medical condition that caused the paralysis"

http://edition.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1010/22/cnr.01.html
------------------------------------
Has she talked by now?
More info??

Go to the link Ron provided (Bay of Holy Spirit Revival) and look under the archived video and select Nov. 11...she leads the worship and gives testimony of what she experienced both before and after...

That's all I'm aware of concerning her...I haven't tried to prove or disprove her testimony, I have no reason to...I believe healing is in the atonement and I receive it and walk in it daily, by faith.

James - thanks for taking the time to post.

I found the Nov 11 vid and stepped through it and could not find Delia.
There is under "Testimonies" a vid of her leading in praise but no speaking.

Hummm,

Well I know she was on giving her testimony that night because that is the only night I watched live. Now I was watching it on God TV so maybe they didn't record it all or whatever ...though I can't imagine why not because that's probably what most people are talking about.

Anyway, dat's all I know bout dat... Rolling Eyes

I just read where John Kilpatrick and Nathan Morris are taking The Bay of The Holy Spirit Revival on the road.
They are to be in New Jersey on Feb.24-25.

A person who pushes the 'prosperity gospel', 'seed', and 'word of faith'(not to be confused with FAITH in The Word ) is really spreading the word for all in the NJ area to come get healed and revived. Telling of all the miracles that happened in Mobile, AL.

Since they have closed it down in the Mobile area for Mardi Gras I suppose it makes sense to hit the circuit.

I just happened to click on their site yesterday and they were broadcasting live from Mobile.(Looks like christmas holiday break is over) I noticed the evangelist, Nathan Morris kept blowing into the microphone making the whoosh sound.(I think it's supposed to be imitating the sound of The Holy Spirit or that the anointing is so heavy that the person is having to blow out air to keep from hyperventilating? Not sure what's up with that, but I remember the head shaking woman, Stacy Campbell, at the Bentley commissioning kept making that same sound.)

Update on Bay of The Holy Spirit Revival for anyone interested. They announced that this weekend would be the last of the regular weekly revival meetings. They are going to start traveling from city to city and nation to nation. There will be a once a month meeting in Mobile and the regular church services on Sunday.

According to them, God told them that what He birthed there(it was 9 months from the beginning in July until this weekend when they say God told them to take it to the world) was for the nation and nations. I don't know if they'll continue to broadcast on their website or not, or whether God TV will be carrying them on their live coverage. Kilpatrick did announce for all pastors out there watching who wanted to invite them to their cities, to be sure they had a meeting place big enough to hold at least 2,000 people.

You can go to their website and listen to this announcement if you're interested.

That whooshing sound they make is to let everyone know the anointing is there and is heavy. They did it in Toronto too. I think it is a load of nonsense but to be fair its not really a fleshly thing its just part of their experience

This isn't directly concerning the Bay of The Holy Spirit Revival but about Brownsville Revival in Penscola, Florida where John Kilpatrick was the pastor during the 90's when they had a revival. I'm not judging this situation, I just found it to be of interest...it was passed along to me and I am making the info available to anyone else who watches these things going on in the name of Jesus.

I read all of these posts in this thread and was not familiar with this revival but wanted to share a revival that took place back in 1740 and has been documented.

I will print the account of a man who was a farmer and carpenter when these events took place:

"News from Heaven"

Quote:

Nathan Cole, a farmer and carpenter reports what it was like to go hear Whitefield preach in Middletown, Connecticut, on October 23, 1740.

I was in my field at work; I dropped my tool that I had in my hand and ran home to my wife, telling her to make ready quickly to go and hear Mr. Whitefield preach at Middletown, then run to my pasture for my horse with all my might, fearing that I should be too late.....

As I came near the road, I heard a noise something like a low rumbling thunder and presently found it was the noise of horses feet coming down the road....Every horse seemed to go with all his might to carry his rider to hear news from heaven for the saving of souls. It made me tremble....
I turned and looked towards the (Connecticut) River and saw the ferry boats running swift backward and forward bringing over loads of people...

All along the 12 miles I saw no man at work in his field, but all seemed to be gone.

When I saw Mr. Whitefield come upon the scaffold, he looked almost angelical-a young, slim, slender youth before some thousands of people with a bold, undaunted countenance. And my hearing how God was with him everywhere as he came along, it solemnized my mind and put me into a trembling fear before he began to preach. For he looked as if he was clothed with authority from the Great God...and my hearing him preach gave me a heart wound. By God's blessing my old foundation was broken up, and I saw that my righteousness would not save me.

I seriously doubt Mr. Whitefield would of packed his bags because the wicked Mardi Gras was about to take place.

True revival brings fear and trembling, repentance and weeping, crying out to God and men seeing themselves helpless and lost for all eternity.

Quote:

Whitefield preached to crowds nearly up to 8,000 everyday, and left thousands asking,

"What must I do to be saved?"
