speaking of ground shaking...sure is a lot of that going on around the world.
James said that on another post. Got me thinking. Am I the only one who thinks we've turned a corner in these end times lately. Or to put it differently there seems to have be a quickening. I haven't been around much lately so if there has been talk about this then ... sorry.
I used to go to a seminar by Hal Lindsay/Grant Jeffrey every year in Toronto. I don't agree with some of what they said but they were both very up on current events. Very interesting.
About 10 yrs ago. Hal Lindsay said some reporter went to the earthquake scientists and told them what he was saying about the frequency of earthquakes increasing in light of the bible. So they changed the way they recorded earthquakes. Not sure of the details of that. Anyway last weekend in the National newspaper I read an article that earthquake scientists were talking about whether the frequency of earthquakes is increasing around the world. 
I just think somehow we've turned a corner lately. I hate to say it but I think things are going to start happening more now

We haven't been talking about it, but it's been stirring in my spirit. I remember something that was said a good while ago in a discussion about the timeline for Jesus return. Someone mentioned they thought it would be a little longer,( I think there was a reference to the great falling away having not happened, along with other 'signs') but something about that discussion has remainded in my thoughts. The discussion caused me to remember how expectant I was when I was first saved, everything I did was with Jesus soon return in mind. Then after 30 years I slowly found myself not so expectant,(not that I wasn't believing He was going to return, I just started making allowances for the possibility that I may live out my life and go by way of the grave...after all, I was never promised that I was going to be alive at His coming...I saw others who had believed they too would 'see' His return<Bro. Freeman, sister Freeman, and many others> who passed from this life.)
But in the last couple of years I've had a rekindling of that expectancy, as more and more world events are pointing to His bringing all things to an end as they are, and establishing His Kingdom. The excitment has returned in my heart and I, almost daily, see or read about something that tells me to 'look up for my redemption draweth nigh'. I see Christians trying to narrow down the 'time'of His return using prophecy, numbers, dates, moons, Jewish feast times, and breaking down Daniel and Revelation in the most exhaustive studies. I've read recently that some are saying 2010, others are sure it's 2012, and other scholars are saying 2017...I say, 'come quickly Lord Jesus'. btw: somebody's going to predict it correctly.....cause there's so many predictions that they've got every date covered... 
So yeah, I too think things are going to start happening more frequently now, in all arenas...in the heavens, in the earth, in the religious community, in the powers that be on this earth(the kingdoms of man), a great shaking and many changes...
and not the kind of changes president Obama speaks of

You took the words right out of my mouth there. I think we are in the time the bridegroom has delayed his coming. I too the last while found myself giving up that expectation. I started making plans for retirement. All the virgins were slumbering. Even the wise ones. I have said for many yrs that at some point things have to start happening. There is a lot of stuff prophesied to happen. I think we are passing out of the time the bridegroom has delayed his coming and things are beginning to move now. Now I'm not putting any dates in here or that that the stars are going to start crashing down or anything. I just think we have turned a corner recently and that there has been a quickening in the Spirit in regards to endtimes.
