a spiritual encounter.

a few days ago, reading the words that mentioned a token. sat there and thought about it and then remembered Jabez. He asked God for a token for good, that God would bless him and keep him from evil.

Well that encouraged to pray the same prayer--including a token of God's blessing. Yesterday while driving home, there was a rainbow. The bible calls the bow a token. It is a covenant. When getting home said to my wife, I saw a rainbow she said wow. She was at her church that morning. she is filling in for a sister by teaching a class till she returns from having her baby.

She was teaching on Noah's ark. What could be a greater token for good than that. The Lord is working to draw my wife from a church that believes in miracles, to a husband who experiences them.

In Acts 2:46 and 5:42 it mentions they are in the temple daily, and going house to house. This also is daily. It appears that they are eating together and have preaching and teaching of the word. The reason for mentioning this is the experience in Indiana when sitting at the table in different homes.

The brethren who ministered to my needs on visits were wonderful. One family would supply a sleeping quarters, which also would supply bread. Others would take turns invite to dinner.

No matter what we were doing we were fellowshipping which included the word. Some would invite others who showed delight in fellowship, and we sat long periods of time telling testimonies ,experiences, while eating. The joy of it proved it was a profitable excercize.

Being I live a Smith Wigglesworth life style, the Holy Spirit always sees to it that those who are hungry for spiritual and physical bread are surrounding me. Today while in MacDonalds the Lord moved right into a several people fellowship. That included the manager who said You can fellowship with me any day shift.

Wherever I go at any moment revcival always breaks out, this has happened almost 40 years now. Last week a gal said I like that--- she saw me at the dinner table reading the bible with my spare time, it sits right there on the table. A fellow at work never said anything till yesterday. Just casual talk. Then he broke out with the fact that he is a former Pentecostal preacher. Hadn't heard that statement in a while, he doesn't believe in the stuff they are teaching today about being saved and living any way you want to. He says a lot of people will be surprised when they find they didn't make it to heaven.

My prayers for him are that he will fulfill what he told me. He said he didn't become a preacher by his own desire but was called and learned the word. for his calling. Not my place to question him, but to pray he finds God's perfect will. May all who are in a denomination heed the call come out of her my people.

May add God sent a prophet into the church I was inhe was there to do just that --help people find truth and come out. Psalms one works, meditate on the word day and night then God will prosper your way and give you good success. God bless.

Here's a testimony that's a bit different...

About 7-8 months ago a couple moved into the building I live in and commenced to cause trouble right away, up all night partying and disturbing everyone else. It was during the time of year when I'm working preparing income taxes and have to get up very early, needing to get 'some' sleep at night. Well, I went to them and tried 'talking' to them, didn't do any good. I realised I had a problem that I needed help with so I prayed about it.

Soon after tax season ended I became aware that they were dealing drugs(serious drug dealers, not just selling a couple of ounces of pot to supplement their own habit...They didn't work and drove a new Corvette). Not that anywhere is immune to drugs, but I live where there is supposed to be screening of residents(a private gated community) and this became an immediate cause for concern. So I started praying daily for wisdom in how to deal with it(I informed proper authorities, managment, and those living nearby). After exhausting every avenue I could think of (without giving in to the flesh and taking care of the problem, physically) I started pressing in in prayer for The Lord to intervene...

Today the sheriff's department evicted them...the offical reason was violation of their lease agreement by causing too many complaints against them...

The real reason...PRAYER

I am seriously thankful for God delivering me (and my neighbors) from that situation. No violence, gun-play, physical altercations,(all of which were solutions given unto me in the way of advise by others) Nonresistance works, because it's God's way for Christians to live, and He will honor the faith of those who seek to walk according to His Word.

A-men.

This is certainly a blessing to see how God moved on your behalf. Your time of testing with them is over and sounds like
you were victorious. Sometimes the flesh would like to deal with things in the flesh, but ultimately God's way is always the best. I have found that when looking back on a trial the Lord was there knowing just what I needed to help me see things in my life that needed to be changed or died to.
I had a very Godly friend who would always encourge me to get the victory and overcome the first time so I wouldn't need to keep going around that mountain, but rather let God do the work in me so I could be victorious in Christ. I pray the Lord give you nice neighbors who are respectful of others and maybe even christians.

Thats very encouraging. The Lord has been impressing me to pray more. I think I will press in.

The boss called on the phone

It is a desire here to minister to you and not just give a praise report. This is a key principle learned by the Holy Spirit, you cannot question a testimony so much if it reveals the glory to God other than saying the Lord pleased me through a manifestation. Do you see what is said here???

So follow this pattern--- the boss calls on your day off which is a sunday. The challenge will be to say or think the wrong things. That's when you apply the crucify the self principle. The more you grow the less you have to crucify.

Here is how to do it best--- In the mind-- this is a opportunity to serve my boss, love him and be a help in his time of need. This should produce friendship and favor. In my case several times he wanted to say thanks for coming in to help me. He wanted to show he meant it.

When at work, 2 opportunities came about to share Jesus. They were at the right time, where it is permissible.

When getting home there was a delicious meal waiting. In the mind there was the satisfaction of knowing God prospered with a extra days pay-- needed. The air conditioner which was given a few years ago has been down a few days , but my mother in law has a unit in a bedroom that is never used. It runs good and that saved a $100.00 dollars.

The Lord caused me to see something on the way home from work so he could impress concerning a double portion. When worshipping the Lord a special anointing came and a series of songs came that were known. there were 2 songs in the series needed and the Lord gave them. That was the double portion. The presence of God was very strong on those.

God has appointed and predestinated all events to bring him glory, we just have to apply those spiritual principles which he has given us. Please understand I don't use the corrective technique when telling people to do something. That can mislead to thoughts in minds of people that your legalistic.

example--- you shouldn't put the icing on the cake till you take the cake from the oven. that may sound corrective, in Greek they say imperitive (command) but it is not, it is instructive and winds up being Greek indicative (fact) to be a good leader you have to be gentle with people and realise where you have come from by grace. The whole Greek thing was just a fun way of getting accross a point.

It is a real priviledge to be around God's real sheep and they are very much appreciated. The very Christ that I love dearly lives inside their very being. He and they are precious. the union with Christ makes them unseperable-- the only difference is he gets all the glory. may his grace pour down like rain on them right now in Jesus name.

Bro. Dave, I enjoyed your testimony about dying out to self and ministering to your boss. May God give us all the grace to do so with people in this world. I, myself, am trying to deal with that principle daily. Razz Mad Confused Sad Crying or Very Sad Rolling Eyes.... Laughing

Also, I appreciate your testimonies about how He supplies your needs. He is so faithful and I, too, am always blessed as to His many "coincidences" that happen in our lives.

I have been wondering about your music. Feel free to post your songs as He reveals them to you. I think it would be a huge blessings for all to hear them. Smile

REFLECTION AND THANKSGIVING.

I have recently surpassed 70 years on my journey through this foreign land on my way to my heavenly home to be with the master. I have been reflecting on just my physical blessings.

How many times does a heart beat in 70 plus years. Innumerable to me and yet The Lord has blessed every beat and for that I thank Him.

I just took another breath. How many breaths did He allow in 70 plus years. In numberable and for that I thank him.

He has blessed me with eye sight to admire the beauty of His creation. I guess that's why I love flowers so much. For that I thank Him.

He blessed me with the ability to taste and to eat and for that I thank Him.

He blessed me with hearing so that I can hear the birds singing praises to Him and to enjoy worship and praise. For this I thank Him.

All these blessings that are so easy to take for granted. I praise and thank The Lord that He has blessed me all these years. He is faithful to His children.

I rejoice with you Grandom! Thanks for sharing your blessings, because so many are not thankful for the little things they have, nor for the big things.
Such as water to drink, food at the grocery store, gas for our cars, freedom(at least at this point), a Bible to read, and the schools that we went to that taught us to read. The list is unending of all the blessings we have.

May the Lord bless you abundantly in the coming year, and thank you for sharing on this site, I have been extremely blessed by all the wisdom you have given us.

I am thankful for you and your reaching 70 as well.

Thanks for being there with wisdom that living to 70 brings.

What you share is usually short, sweet, and to the point. It always tickles me to see just how short you can keep it which a good example for me, too. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Thank you Gwb.

Last night and this morning this song has been going through my mind and spirit so I thought I would share it.

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my father!
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not:
As thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

Chorus
Great is Thy faithfulness,
Great is Thy faithfulness,
Morning by morning new mercies I see:
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Chorus
Great is Thy faithfulness,
Great is Thy faithfulness,
Morning by morning new mercies I see:
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth.
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide,
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Chorus
Great is Thy faithfulness,
Great is Thy faithfulness,
Morning by morning new mercies I see:
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!

Oh Lord. Thank you for your faithfullness.
Be Blessed

Congrats brother, you don't look a day over 69... Smile

Seriously, we do have so much to be thankful for, and one of the things I'm thankful for is having you as a brother in The Lord. May He continue to bless you as you grow in wisdom and understanding of Him.

I find it interesting how The Holy Spirit is putting these songs in our hearts lately from the old hymn books...I used to not care too much for them; now they minister to my spirit as I go through the day.

Yep! Great IS His faithfulness...

I thank God for David Wilkersons devotional for today.

Quote "Anyone can keep his joy when he's riding high in the Holy Ghost, not being tried or tempted. But God wants us to keep ourselves in his love at all times—especially in our temptations."

Not many are aware of the trial I have been going through these last few months and I wont expound on it now. If we would keep the word in our heart (remember) count it all joy etc. God loves us with an everlasting love and because He loves us He allows trials.

We are never as close to Him as when we are weak and broken. Thought out history humans seem to always move away from God in the good times.
Thank you Lord for your love.

By His stripes I am healed.

Be blessed

oppression must cease.

a conflict in the work place was developing. a lady was not doing her work and was oppressing our particular work team.

From my part, had even done her a great favor by sacrifice to treat her kindly anyway. She in return would include all of the team in spite of kindnesses.

The evening before prophetical words came. the first was a scripture. Prov. 13:23 in the JFB, the commentary put in my words reveals, the laboring poor,---not poor in a spiritual sense but materially. are still more prosperous than those who are crafty and wicked and have their way of sleeping in the bathroom instead of doing their labor.
those were my comments out of JFB"S comments.

The second prophetical was when doing a study in the word, when all of a sudden these words were written.
Those who play--will like Haman have to ---pay.

The Lord knew that we were experiencing a situation where the lady would lie to the boss and say bad things about us as she was trying to manipulate us into doing her work also.

The next day report came the big boss fired her. She was even given opportunity to here the word. It is sad that people are captive to things. That doesn't mean we can't try to help them. Out of all that the Lord has comforted by my receiving some extra hours, being my job is a part timer. also the favor given her came back as a better situation for me. The boss gave a new special equipment to us for a better work experience. God is in control of things and is worthy to be praised.

remember suffer and cross was for the purpose of delivering from loss. think about it.

Matthew 5:45

"...for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."

I'm thankful today for the rain we're getting, most of Alabama has been under drought conditions for some time.

I pray I never get to the place where I take God's blessings for granted.

When occult oppression comes my way,
it has the power to make me pray.

I want to praise God for his Holy Spirit. The occult I'm refering to is from people who are not saved or delivered. It is likely that others are not sure just how to handle that kind of situation.

One of the most joyful things to know is we can't handle that. God knew we couldn't, that's why he has given us Spiritual things to deal with Spiritual battles. Times of sifting are already dealt with by our Father. He wants to know something about us. He already does but actions bring forth some kind of fruit.

He is so pleased that when we go through these things we make the choice that would please him. Instead of being in a garden eating the wrong fruit, now we choose to bring forth ther right fruit. Wisdom is called a tree of life. If we are not willing to be put on a cross daily we will actually be walking in spiritual death.

True worship is out of knowing that somehow the father is pleased with our fruit and sacrifice. All fruit is born out of the life of the Spirit, not the works of the flesh. The Lord will prosper and bless even when the enemy says no so we must remember it's not a matter of circumstances, only the sufficiency of God's grace.

In other words who can hinder or stop a all powerful, sovereign God. I praise him that at a time when all seems to be falling apart, it really isn't. What is happening is that all the things around are not as real as the spiritual realities that only the word of God can create.

example--- you claim a promise. God may give you something far above that is better than your own choice. He will give what you ask but even better. proof of this is that he can even give a double portion. The true issue is a commitment of true love and fellowship with the father. If we ask he will bring us to a place of pleasing. we want to be confident that he is pleased with us. We cannot do that in the flesh. start by entering his presence through praise and worship and a humbling of oneself. truly he has come forth to give victory today for me in many ways. for you to confession.

Today praise God for abundant life. Jn.10:28 eternal life.

2 passages are on my heart. the first is Prov. 8:36 all they that hate me love death says a lot. What a terrible way to express this hate. To love death--- skull and bones---Dracula and sucking blood till the victim dies--- ghosts ---graveyards---pirates who kill with the sword-- and much more.

The poor innocent children, they don't know any better. denominational churches continue to encourage it. It all is a laugh for the devil as he says--please love death.

The second is in Rom. 8:6 To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. To follow the ways of the world is carnal. 1Jn. 2:15 says love not the world neither the things in the world.

For a moment this all doesn't seem encouraging. We have to see both sides to understand that God is reaching out to tell us something. look at Jn. 10:10 the last part of the verse show us we can have life and have it more abundantly.

If you are in the eternal life covenant which Jesus purchased with his blood, then you are assured you will have abundant life. some times circumstances may tell you differently. life includes every provision. Then the Lord adds abundantly. Once we get focused on Jesus and his life in us we will see in our inner spirit that he lives and dwells there. His kingdom is within us.

In the past years through much research, by taking Theology and making it apply to life, tremendous revelations have come to understand how to make it apply to life. Thereby it is more than just a secular teaching but a living instrument to abundant life. truly in him we live and move and have our being. Acts 17:27-28 it is a great praise song also God bless.

Praise be to Jesus !

This past Saturday the pastor of a small church here in Van Wert was called to the bed
Side of a 25 year old stroke victim. The family wanted the pastor to administer last rites.
He was in a deep coma and the doctors gave him no hope !

When he walked into the waiting room he told the family, he couldn’t do that !(give last rites)
Why ?
Because he had heard the testimony 2 weeks ago, of how had God delivered my grand daughter Diamond from death.

Whos Report will you Believe ? God or the doctor !

He choose to believe Gods report. The pastor then laid hand on the man and left.
No responses from the victim.

Sunday morning during worship the pastor was moved to do one more thing. He asked the mans sister to come and be anointed with oil on his behalf and asked all to agree For healing for Jeff. So Be it !

After being anointed with oil, the sister went to the hospital and rubbed her oily forehead
On his forehead and with in a short time he started moving around.
Today he opened his eyes and started moving his hands and lips starting to communicate
With those around him…….Praise Jesus !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The doctors can’t understand why this is happening….He supposed to die !

Whos report will you Believe ?

I will believe the Report of the Lord !

Praise Be to Jesus !!!!!!!!

Whoa. Wait. Stop the presses.

Are you telling us because you attended a less then perfect church (there are no perfect ones you know)and the pastor probably doesnt have the light we have, and you participated in body ministry by giving your testimony that a young man is alive today? Is that what your saying?

Praise the Lord forever more.

Would like to gently say that healing is walking in perfection.

Those who trust in the world are making two mistakes. First they are putting themselves in danger by trusting man's means of healing. Also they are not in obedience to the requirements of righteousness God has laid down in his word.

The bottom line is that if we are not meeting conditions of faith God is not obligated to respond. If there is a manifestation of faith there will also be a revelation to go on to maturity.

In Eph. 4:11 the 5-fold ministry is for the perfecting of the saints. That means they haven't arrived at the full requirements the Lord has set. The word let us go on to perfection would include those who step out in faith often so as to press on to perfection.

mercy is a perfection of God also grace and all the rest. We may come short of it but we pay a high price when not obediant.

Grace was when Abraham was to have a son by Sarah. He went to Hagar. Ishmael was not to good of a deal, but God gave grace to Abraham and he did have Isaac.

Always remember that what we do and how we do it results in great rewards. There are many churches that are very prosperous, and some ministers were caught in the act of adultery. Their prosperity is no proof of their faith. Through that we see that there may be manifestations but they may not be of God. Through a perfect walk in uprightness, people will not bring reproach on the word by saying that couldn't be of God for those people live worldly or sinful.

responsibility is included in our walk so God will get all the glory.

Not taking prayers for granted

Try to always give a testimony report to you all when things happen as a result. The performance today was tremendous. Gave the testimony about the Ohio fellow coming out of the comma. A lady returned testimony of another similar time when someone was anointed with oil and healed.

People came after and before the gospel singing and it was full of things pertaining to gifts of the Spirit. Got to use for the first time the new gift God has given me. It is a new way of singing. One comment came that my singing and guitar playing was so good didn't need all the other stuff. I will pray about that. God's presence was so strong it put the fear of God on me. It came to me that it is okay the Lord is just making me skilful and powerful. He didn't want me to be uncomfortable.

He is good and you can tell the difference when under the anointing that you are doing better than you would on your own. To God be all the glory. thanks

Someone special in my life.

Reflecting on the past, after years of hearing the messages of healing, Being to some the healing message was sort of a warfare message. It was obvious there were more than just a few. We were learning that medical science is not of God but of the d----. Honestly the world is full of the d----. It is easy to get side tracked when your in a battle with him.

In guessing, after being a medical professional also, it's is easy to have the wrong feelings toward people who don't believe in healing, especially Drs.

God has rewarded the past few years with many medical science individuals in my life. The main reason being they need to know the truth. That is in love.

The man in which has been brought my way is special. He is a 30 year Dr. who is retired. He is a preacher's son. He has said personally that he is amazed at the testimonies shared with him. They are just a few about supply needs from the Lord. He is real excited when I give him scriptures to read at home. He makes a point to let me know he reads them.

He speaks well of his dad, he says my dad lived it. His dad by the way also conducted feet washing at their love feasts. The communion also. He was excited telling that, he said it really brings the brethren together in a bond.

It is obvious that many people are born again-- they just need to know more about Jesus. That was where I was at when a prophet from faith assembly came and showed unto me the more excellent way. A good example of a person in that life would be in Acts 19. They were saved but didn't know that their was such a thing as receiving the Holy Spirit since they beleaved.
May the Lord send our way predestined souls to tell his good news amen.

Just wanted to praise the Lord for the way the Lord used HEF to give understanding about the disciplined life. Things like a hard word, or having to choose what side of the fence you will walk on. no compramising the word,

Many had written the same who were in the walk of faith. He was a true example of a 5-fold minister in Eph.4: to bring the saints to perfection.

unfortunitely a man may make human mistakes. He certainly works hard to be a blessing and if he makes a mistake people will talk about that and forget the good he has done. Don't hear people talking much about Moses not going into Canaan, but most of the time it's about delivering People out of Egypt.

Some people who may have not been under the word very long may have a tendency to speak disagreeingly about a minister.

There is no option concerning truth, it is no choice , we must agree with truth. even sometimes people in the world teach us things that are good. If they are wrong we discern that and reject it. But it is no option concerning any truth in the word.
It is of utmost importance that we crucify our opinion and seek the Holy Spirit for truth. We have no choice in what we think. The mind is not able to always make accurate judgements.

We cannot even hear a minister and say I agree or disagree, we must be in the word and trust the Holy Spirit for his yes and amen.

One thing is for sure we are blessed to have those who keep us on the narrow path and a disciplined walk so we can please the Lord in our walk. We must give account for our walk. We must seek our salvation with fear and trembling, most of all we must stay humble and be ready to make any adjustments if need be.

thank you Holy Spirit for being our great teacher who confirms the word of truth.

I praise God for his intervention in saving my wife and grand daughter from a car accident last week.

the car she was driving to go to church konked out in the high speed highway. A car almost wrecked when running off the road to avoid hitting her. Many people stopped to help her. She said the Lord was good to her and Emma.

The hill to her left is a blind spot so cars cannot see till right up on you. God can see over all hills and keep us safe amen.

Another thing going on is my son's wife has a brother who is just had a baby. it came prematurely. There were many problems that I will not confess but the many prayers that went up are a sure sign concerning the child's progress. I praise God for the ability to pray in tongues. That way God prays perfect prayers through the instrument.

A couple days ago was going through some things which weakened the body. The thought came don't feel like praising today in music studio. That was one of those thoughts you have to throw out. After saying will praise God today, a instant anointing of strength came. Made one feel like nothing was happening in the bad feeling realm.

After prepared instruments a idea came---why don't you set up all the music needed to create a full music concert. It lined up perfectly. Not just a list of songs but songs in proper order. Here's the order---intense---gentle worship---then intense again.

That doesn't rule out the leading of the Spirit, but he will adjust as he would like in any situation. That is simular to having a few messages and the Lord may say don't preach this one but another one that you have. Know anyone who preaches after that pattern?

Out of that praise and worship came the message from Genesis ch.2. cover that in another post.

That's amazing Neil is doing better. Glory to God.

To add more praise to God --- Frank was laying there dying and the Dr. says there's no more we can do. Well Frank was there and told them he refused any more medicine. To them that was okay. They were about to stop his pacemaker until they found all of a sudden someone said no don't do that. Yesterday he went home and is doing much better. He recognises people. We continue to pray for full progress, thank you Jesus.
