She stayed part of FA after the split. She died of a broken hip around 1998-99. she left faith ministries to kathy who still owns it over Steve and Pams objections

Are Kathy and Bruce still married? I used to go to Bruce's Friday night meetings.

Yes they are. Bruce has evidently come back to the Lord after some bad circumstances. you probably know that anyway kathy and the kids went to FA for a while but now go to one of the satelite churches.
Its 5:30 here going to bed. Glad I found this site will check back later

Man, that is great news! Things would have been dramatically different had Bruce stuck around!

This is TRUE FACT Mrs Freeman Died Jan.27,2000
I Was the Song Leader at Faith Assembly at the time, She had not been attending there for abour 4 months, I happened to stop over there one evening and Pam Hill was there,I ask her if I could come in and play some praise and worship for a bit, Mrs Freeman said OK, I played about 40 min. I ask her if she had a favorite song she liked to sing, She said how about, Sing about the blood. So I sang the song, Sing about the blood, Magnify the blood, as I was singing I found that I was the only one singing, Her head veered to the right a little, and I thought she had fell asleep. She was in a nursing bed with a sling on one of her arms, she had fell the night befor which I had no idea of, she was going into the other room to turn the heat up on the thermometer, and she fell to the floor, bruised her hip side and arm. as for a broken hip I don't recall her saying anything to me, nor did she seem to be in alot of pain, Her shoulder and arm , part of her face was bruised But I don't recall her saying anything about her hip...(any ways) as I was playing the song, she I thought, fell asleep. I found out the next day by Pam and Steve that she had gone to be with the Lord. WHAT A WAY TO GO!!!
This is true fact....

Gene,

Thanks for sharing that testimony of sister Freeman's going to be with The Lord. Praise Jesus, that is a blessed way to pass, listening to worship and praise...I'd like to believe she went from hearing you singing to hearing angels singing.

Thanks again for sharing the music on this forum, it is refreshing and a blessing to hear again.

Musicman.

I can only echo James`s thought on sister Freemans passing. What a Glorious way to go. Thank the Lord that He led you to her home at that time to escort her home with praise and worship music.

That blessed me more then you can imagine.

Praise God for His love and mercy.

Dearest Brethren,
I met sister Freeman twice at FA, Hobart once. I cannot think of another sister in our Lord more kind, loving and humble excepting maybe my own mother, who I knew better. Her very heart drew one in to the grace, beauty and majesty of our God. I still love her and bro. Freeman deeply, and look forward to uniting with them again in eternity. is it not amazing what God has done!

Hi Doug,

I agree with you --she was a beautiful godly example and positively glowed with the love and joy of the Lord! A few years before she went to be with the Lord, a sister I know ran into her and many others from FA at a funeral and Mrs. Freeman was so full of joy to see everyone saying, "Isn't it wonderful to have so many of the family together?"

In spite of all that's gone on and the hurts and misconceptions (after all, family stuff gets messy sometimes), we are still family in Christ and it will be a joy to be reunited with our brothers and sisters in Christ for all of eternity worshipping our Lord!

Blessings,
Abiding

Amen Abiding!

Sister Freeman was the ultimate example of a Godly woman. I will never forget the first time she came back to FA after Bro. Freeman had gone to be with Him in eternity. She came in through the back door by FA ministries at the time. I looked at her and teared up and went to hug her. She did hug me, but said, "We can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me." I said, "Amen, sister. Do you want me to sit next to you so you don't have to be alone?" She replied, SO sweetly, "Now you know we are NEVER alone!"

WOW! I have never forgotten that! What an example of faith for all of us at FA.

Blessings,

GWB

Hi William,

Yes, I have been in Milwaukee all my life, and my wife Patty is an Indiana girl.

In 1976 I heard Dr Freeman's Absolutes of Discipleship, and I knew I was hearing the fresh Word of God. I just latched on to it. My pastor up here for many years was Gary Eide (Charismatic Faith Assembly). Later, we sat under Bro. Robert Ellender while he was up here, and we are now under Pastor Timothy Winter, with whom I studied Hebrew and Greek years ago.

I met Patty at the first of the Steve Hill / Tom Hamilton seminars back in December of 1977. We wrote back and forth and I proposed to her in a letter. Gary Eide used to refer to her as my mail-order bride!

She and I had the privildge of attending FA several times on vacations back to Indiana. We also attended some of the smaller meetings in Indiana at times; for instance, I think we'd been once to the Crawfordsville meeting, and frequently to Greencastle, IN where Patty was originally. For many years I also attended Steve Hill's weekly meetings in Rockford, IL.

Thanks for your interest. I am glad to have found this site. I look forward to learning more with you all about what God has done and is still doing in your lives.

En Christo,

Doug Jerving
