Ok Guys,

I know that not much has been happening here lately but that just means things are happening elsewhere!

For the last six weeks we've been busy receiving the blessings of the Lord. My oldest son who has been on his own for seven years or so, has returned to our house and returned to the Lord! He had gotten involved with prescription drugs (after being run over by a truck) and became quite dependent on them. He lost his job because he could not meet the physical demands. The accident had injured his shoulder and he could not lift his arm above his head. Not only that but his boss did not want him driving the company truck because of his dependence upon the drugs.

When he lost his job he found work in Atlanta (5-6 hours away) and as he was driving down the transmission in his truck completely failed on an interstate not far from Atlanta. The couple who had told him about the job gave him a place to sleep but he was unable to work without his vehicle. He spent three or four days reading his Bible and finally called me for help. I drove to Atlanta and pulled his truck (which miraculously was still on the side of the Interstate) to a Walmart parking lot where we left it until the following week. Driving back we had some deep heart to heart discussions and I knew the Holy Spirit was working.

Everything in his life seemed to be going wrong. Every turn he made was a dead-end.

To make a long story short he went to a small young adult singles meeting with his sister and during the meeting the pastor had a word of knowledge, actually multiple words of knowledge and 'read his mail' as they say. They prayed for him and he turned his life back over to the Lord.

We've since had some wonderful times of fellowship... it is such a blessing to see the hand of God upon him.

I reminded him that seconds after he was born I held him up and dedicated his life to the Lord and that during the course of his life there were multiple times when the Lord confirmed certain things about ministry (not only through us but through people who didn't know us at all.)

The next thing that happened was a complete healing of his shoulder. He can now raise both hands in praise to the King!

I'll share more soon!

William

I haven't posted in quite a while but I wanted to say praise the Lord for His faithfulness. God has provided protection for you son and I give God the glory for that. God's hands were certainly on his life.

I am so thankful that He is so faithful.

Praise be to the Lord for the good things that He has done.

Hey, good to see you again Mark! Looks like it is Hombre and not you taking the beating over on the other board... feels good for a change, eh?

Don't go soft on us though... remember, if running with men wearies us what are we going to do when we need to run with the horses? <grin>

Like brother Freeman used to say 'Cheer up Jeremiah, things are going to get worse!'

Well look at it this way....I don't answer to Unhealed. And the only real bashing I would get is from the self righteous Fivefoldfalseprophet, aka saintsarenotsinners. Face it, people are going to be bitter about FA and there is no way to avoid it. Those of us who were grounded in the word will not be offended at what happened at FA.

God bless

Mark
