Musicman, et.al,
As I was snooping through some of my parents old tapes a couple of weeks ago, I stumbled across a few music tapes.

One tape is music from an Indianapolis seminar. It is the one I have been trying to find for years. Along with general worship music, it includes solo performances by Steve Hill, Carl Seitz and Melody Powers.

The second is a set of two tapes. According to the lable, these are FA worship services put together by Jerry Ervin. As best I can tell from listening to them, they were put together around 1982 or 1983. I remember when these were done, because people who were playing things like sticks (not sure what they're called, but people would hit them together) were asked not to play them while they were recording. Also, you can hear Stan Hill playing his saxaphone (which I forgot exactly how good he was until I listened to these.)

My purpose for posting is that I would like to send these to someone who would be willing to break the songs down into tracks and convert to digital format. Musicman would seem the most likely candidate. These are originals, so I would be putting my trust in your hands.

Let me know who among you is willing to do this in short order, and I will mail them to you.

Glad to be posting again after a long break,

Duncan

Hello, my name is Tom.

If no one has taken you up on your request to remaster the worship tapes I can and would like to do this.

I am a musician and I have the digital equipment required to make them.

Of course the quality of the recording (bootleg or professional); the quality of the tape and the physical condition of the tape itself (how old) has everything to do with making a good quality analog to digital recording.

You can send me a private message and I will get right back to you.

His servant and yours

Tom

God's words shall be in your heart: you shall talk of them all day long. Deut 6:6-7
