I am sure that there are many people who read and watch this site. This thread is for those who have never heard about the Word of Faith, through Faith ministries. Perhaps you do know a little, and have legitimate questions.

Do you need to know how to be saved? Are you afraid? Have you been involved in witchcraft and do not know how to get out of the situation in which you find yourself? Do you want to know how to speak in tounges and why it is important? Do you have ANY question? Every question is important when it comes to eternity.

There are numerous people on this site who can help you. As you can tell, they are passionate for the Word; they know their stuff. I can't speak for them, but I know that I am here for anyone who might want to address these issues on the site or by personal email. I am one of the sisters in Him if you need "a girl" to talk to!

Jesus came to set the captives free. That is you, if you do not know Him personally. That is you, if you are afraid in these uncertain times, and do not know how to deal with it. That is you, if drugs or alcohol has its hold on you. That is you, if you are a total wreck, have blown everything, and do not know where to turn.

www.faithmandp.com is Faith Ministries new website. They have books and tapes, at reasonable prices, to help you. Keep it simple and take one tape and book at a time. As you study the material, share with everyone on this site what you are learning and what He has done for you! I would LOVE to hear anything He has done for you! Share with us what you have learned. I never stop learning, and I am excited to hear how He moves in everyday life with believers at all stages.

Jesus was God in the flesh. He has power over every circumstance and over every demon. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Blessings, GWB

GWB,

Excellent post, and the title reminds me of something else to thank Jesus for at this time we celebrate as a day of Thanksgiving. I'm thankful, that through the knowledge of Jesus and His promises, I don't have to be afraid. Though uncertainty surrounds us in the natural, we have a certainty promised us by Him who controls all things. His word tells us to, "Let not your heart be troubled..." and that, "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." also that,"God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind."

Yeah, the stock market is a mess and the economy is bad and everywhere we look people are closing businesses and going under, BUT God promises to provide for us and keep us, we have nothing to fear. Rather as the signs of His return become more and more evident, we can take comfort in His Word, knowing that He who hath called us, will perserve us.

For this peace and these promises from our heavenly Father, I'm THANKFUL.

And for those who don't have this peace in their hearts, I pray God in His wonderous mercy and grace, will reveal Himself unto them, that they too, might KNOW in whom they've believed, and KNOW He is more than able to deliver them, who have been a captive of fear all their lives. That's what He did at the cross, set the captives free.

Well Gary, I can see how this could be a 'loaded' question, but I'm hoping we've gotten past trying to 'paint brothers into a corner' or 'letting out rope til a guy hangs himself'. I also could ask, "as taught by who? Bro. Freeman? Jesus? Paul?"
God's Word says that it is absolute, and we all know there are many scriptures to quote where Jesus says it is.
I too believe God will honor His promises....I'm staking my life on it. I'm not sure what you're asking in response to what I said about God promising to keep us and provide for us and that we have nothing to fear.
Maybe you could elaborate on where you're going or reword your questions...

James,
There is no way this is a loaded question.

I have never tried to purposely paint a brother in a corner. Thats the truth.

I will try to figure it out on my own, I guess its better to avoid some subjects.

In Him,
Gary Cool

Gary,

O.K. I was hoping it wasn't, that why I attempted to answer you. But based on what occured a couple of months ago ( when you told me the reason you had asked me a question in a certain way was to force me to show my hand or commit on a subject.... do you remember that? I think that was when you went back and deleted several post concerning the conversation) I was a bit leary of what you were asking.
I can't see it as a subject to be avoided, in fact it's a subject that if we don't 'figure it out', we'll never make it...because without faith it's impossible to please God. And faith that's divided between God and man is not faith at all.

Don't go getting all sensitive when there's nothing to be offended about.....and sense your advice just today was that you hoped everyone didn't start feeling like they had to apologize every time they said something.....I leave you with this......remember, if you can get your feelings bruised this easily, then try to word things in a way that someone else doesn't have to overcome the same thing. You know, the 'golden rule'.....peace

Your brother in Christ,

james
