I don't know if everyone reading here keeps up with what is going on around the world and with Israel but Israel is making preparations for war with Iran. They have made it abundantly publicly clear they will not accept a nuclear Iran. The reason is that they believe and I think they are correct that Iran will use it on them. Iran could put up with terrible losses in a war but a nuclear attack on Israel would wipe the nation out. So it's an existential issue for them.
Some of those reporting this are quite knowledgeable. Amir Tsarfati for one. You can find him on youtube. Their point being that it would inevitably open the door to the war of Gog and Magog. I think their reasoning is good. My reasoning though is that I don't think it is going to happen. For a couple of reasons.
1. Without a nuclear bomb or something similar Iran is simply no military match for Israel. Israel would have to put up with huge losses from rockets and missiles out of Gaza, Lebanon/Hezbollah and probably Syria. But the country would survive. Outside a ground war (which isn't going to happen) Iran simply doesn't have the military capability.
2. I don't believe it is God's time. Things simply aren't in place. For one America is still militarily and politically ascendant. For another Russia and Turkey aren't really in place yet. Also, The war takes place when Israel believes they are at peace and safe.
So my conclusion is that Iran will find a way out.
