Anyone,

I am planning to play and sing the Carl Seitz song, "Sweet Water of the Word" at our church in the near future. I only know of two verses. Does anyone know if there were more? I know that Hombre mentioned one of the verses over on Factnet. If there was another verse that I am missing, please let me know.

Carl Seitz was a very gifted singer/songwriter. He used to play and sing with Ray Boltz and my late brother-in-law, Chris Joyner. Even though I was just a kid, his songs and his voice still ring in my ears.

Thanks.

Duncan

Off topic but I would like to hear about Ray Boltz's FA experience.

Hey Brother... I have a bunch of Carl's songs along with several other artists from FA. Would you like me to make them into mp3's? Let me know.

Derick,

I absolutely loved the music at Faith Assembly! I have always wanted to get hold of it. Hate to expose my ignorance but is an MP3 the same as a cd?

Actually an mp3 is a compressed digital file. In this case I would record the file in mp3 format and upload it so that anyone could download it and play it on an mp3 player or computer(all computers are capable of playing mp3s).

None of this music is copywrited, so there are no legal issues. The music is not for sale so there are no moral issues of thieving from the artist's family.

Even Dr. Freeman's books and tapes are not copywrited, but since there is a brother making a living from them, I would feel bad about sharing around all the teachings I have.

Carl Seitz tapes. Tomax got in touch with the family and there is no problem with sharing them. I think that is right on his site
Bro Freemans tapes. Faith Ministries is owned outright by Kathy. It was left to her in Mrs. Freemans will. Which I think was very prudent. I don't imagine Joe would mind them shared around but I can't speak for him.

Hi,

I am in Australia & have two old tapes of Carl singing. They are not good enough to copy. I loved "There hath no temptaion" if that is the correct name.

Would really appreciate if people would like to share mp3's.

God bless,

sincerely

If anyone wants to get Carl Seitz's music on CD, contact Gene Cornell at rccci@netzero.com. Suggest a donation of $25 to help cover costs and CD's.

I am amazed that Carl's music is still in demand! I played bass on songs from his "Look Up" tape. My brother was the guy who operated the tape decks and mics to record that tape. Carl was a very talented musician, and I was blessed by his music.

here is the word to AS THE WAVES OF THE OCEAN
in true type font
AND THE VOCALS FROM my personal CD MUSICMAN

As The Waves of The Ocean,
Can Make Smooth A Stone:
As The Winds,
Can Change A Mountain To Sand:
So It is With God’s Word,
When It’s Heard And Done:
It’s Able To Transform A Man.

Vs.2 It’s A Mountain of Strength A Refuge In Trial:
It’s A Warm Rain To A Soul That is Dry.
And The Man Who Does The Word,
“Oh,” He’s Like A Tree.
Where The Rivers of Water Are Nigh.

Chorus:
“Oh, Oh,” Sweet Water of The Word:
No Sweeter Shall Ye Ever Find.
It’s By Hearing The Word,
That A Man’s Born Again,
It’s The Word That Will Renew His Mind.

“Oh, Oh,” Sweet Water of The Word:
My Comfort Right From The Start,
“Oh, Oh,” Sweet Water of The Word:
It’s Doing A Work In My Heart.

Vs.3 In The Times of Trial And Testing,
Just One Thing Shall Stand:
When All Around Seems To Be Shaken.
You Can Trust In God’s Word,
It Shall Not Pass Away,
For Forever It’s Settled In Heaven. Chorus:

At The End of The Chorus: Sing
It’s Doing A Work In My Heart! (Slow)
