Kudos to Hobart E. Freeman...

I was reading on another Christian forum yesterday and the subject of false doctrines and religions/faiths came up. A person quoted from "Every Wind of Doctrine" quite extensively. She also said that in her opinion that book by Hobart Freeman was a 'must' for any christian's library.

I don't think she is a former FAer, and to my knowledge there is only one member of that forum that is. They are mostly post-tribers and don't have the light on divine healing/walking by total trust in God (or if they have, they have rejected that teaching).

I was pleasantly surprised.

I believe that, at one time, Billy Graham (sp?) would suggest Angels of Light for various situations when people would call for ministry.

It was an extreme church, with an extreme message, for extreme warfare and battles.

I am certainly not "there" yet, but I am believing everyday to be able to go out and deal with anything that would come my way. I know God is faithful to do so.

Even with all of the various problems then, and now, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I wish Shocked (whoops, occult Laughing) people would ponder on FA's original intention before we all made our own OT Law out of many issues. I believe that those who have the most problems with FA don't understand the founding of FA and why it was even established in the first place. JMO

I believe that Satan Razz has used, and is using "the problems" to try to diminish what was good and powerful. I said that somewhere else and was shot down. Thank God for OO! Smile

We had an AWESOME bootcamp!!!....and, absolutely, 100%, kudos to the man who had the guts to deliver that message to us.

And no, HEF is not my idol. He was a man, just like the rest of us.

Shalom,

GWB
