Micah 6:8 NIV says He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
We see this so rarely in this day and age.The norm for today is to demand our rights at all costs.
I have been impressed in the last year or so of a person that fits this scripture to a tee. He has undergone extreme unjust criticism, false accusations and yet has acted justly, loved mercy, reaching out to accusers and walked humbly with God.
James my brother. I salute you. One can see you truely have been with Jesus.

Yes I would agree as well.
Fires will be kindled to testify that two and two make four. Swords will be drawn to prove that leaves are green in summer.”

How to respond? May any and ALL glory be unto Jesus, I sure have a ways to go, but Praise God that He is teaching me. It makes me uncomfortable and embarressed, because I'm absolutely nothing of myself. And responding to criticism and the like in a Godly manner sure isn't natural and I haven't always overcame, but God is Faithful to complete the work in me He's begun.(and each one of us who will summitt to the work of The Holy Spirit)
Most of us know of what and of whom Grandom is speaking, so I'd like to ask each one who is knowing of this situation, to PLEASE pray for these brothers. I don't say or ask this self-righteously or from a pedestal of perfection myself, but this is serious and I fear for them should they continue down this path they've chosen. I've learned quite a bit about myself from this situation over the last 16 months, and I've learned the difference between 'saying' I'm on the cross, dying out to self; and 'being' on the cross. We all have to learn and that comes from humbling ourselves before God and being FORGIVING. There's no way I can expect God to forgive me if I don't have a forgiving heart towards them...that's what He's working in me, I truely forgive them and daily pray for them...just as I hope people do for me when I've gone astray.
Guys,(G&W), let it go, repent, and move on in The Lord...I hold nothing you've written or said against you, and pray The Lord doesn't either.
