I just wanted to let everyone know that Moulder is indeed a real person. I met him for coffee this afternoon.

After that, I stuffed him in my freezer and had his liver with some fava beans. Very Happy

Have a great day,
Duncan

I'd like to stuff him in my freezer after fooling me with that post he did a while ago about a video purporting to have us on a cult watch site. My name was front and center. Smile

Well if it wasn't for the fact that he is spiritual, knowledgeable, sometimes funny, and an all round good bro.

. . .

I'd save a place in my freezer for him.

Actually Duncan is a pretty nice guy... he got me a sub-prime loan without
much collateral (my shoelaces) and told me not to worry when I protested
that I might have a tough time paying it back (something about a deal he's
got with some guy called Bernanke). It did take a couple of hours, which
surprised me... normally my credit rating of 12 generates an immediate
response...

The Feds have been pushing us to use our TARP money, so I was happy to fund your personal stimulus plan!

Next time I'll get someone without a southern accent to do the narration!

Hey Chris,

Have you given any thought to redecorating your office?

I hear there's a sale on area rugs, check with John Thain, he knows where to pick up some nice ones, cheap...only $87,000.

Now James... I understand the need to point out senseless extravagance,
but I heard a rumor this past weekend that makes me wonder if you are the
best choice for this chore? Do you, or do you not own a Peugeot?

My advice... never drive a car you cannot pronounciate! Note that one
prominent End-in-a-T company recognized the difficulty of selling a car
that someone couldn't ask for, and solved their problem by changing
their name to Chevy.

Car customer: Hey, I want me a chiv-er-let...
Salesman: A what?
Car customer: A chiverlet...
Salesman: We don't carry any of those foreign cars like chiverlets or
phewjots... want to take a look at this new chevy?
Car buyer: Brilliant... I'll take it.

I DO NOT own a Peugeot...pronounced pu joe(in alabama)

But I see you've talked with someone from our mutual past, because about 20 years ago I owned 3 of them. Excellent cars, I had 79, 82, and 84 models. The 84 was a loaded, turbo diesel, a dream to drive.

BTW: I'm not the CEO, just a partner.... Laughing ( a working partner, at that. And the only money I've lost was my own...can I still get some bailout money?)

And to show my true humility, I currently drive a Honda... Laughing

Oh! and my favorite car ever was a 66 Chevelle, SS 396, Candy Apple red. Bad to de bone...

Actually, James, I was thinking about using the money to pick up a new private jet. I hear that Citi may have one going to market.

James,
I need some free professional tax advice. I received a tax form from the seminary I am attending that shows my tuition cost for last year. Can I deduct my tuition costs, since I am continuing my education to better myself? Or since I am not a minister by trade, do I not get to count it off. (Please note that I am a licensed minister but not an ordained minister.)

If I am audited, I will not call on you for backup. I would just like to hear your opinion.

Thanks.

Duncan

"PuJoes" not to be confused with "Jims" which also are pretty good
vehicles!

Note that you perfectly match the profile... NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY
owns "A" pujoe. Back in the 60's we had 2 (1947 and 1948 Models). You
have to buy an extra one for parts... standard procedure. (Same with
Jims!)

Our mutual friend is my brother "Toby" from the B'ham assembly.
<grin>
Blessings,
William

Chris,

Now you're talking...I hear the court of public opinion is ordering them to not take shipment on the new one...How cool is that? I guess there are some positive results from the media putting every thing out there for everyone to see. First the 'big 3' stopped traveling by private jet; then Thain decides to repay the 1.2 mil he spent on his office; and now Citigroup is cutting back on their fleet of corp. jets. Of course, they all have a agenda...bailout money.

If we could just get Obama to give us back the money wasted for his 'shin dig', all would be well...well not quite... Laughing

Thanks, James. I will be on the lookout for your email. We Bama boys have to look out for one another! You never know what kind of tax laws those yankees operate under. I will keep your opinion on the DL.

I do plan on printing out Hombre's response and putting it in my tax file - just in case the IRS comes a callin'.

I remember Toby...When you talk with him next, ask him if he remembers Ronnie Martin. Ronnie and I still get together from time to time.

Was Ronnie the black brother who seemed to be 'pastor' material? If
so, I spent the afternoon with him at Toby's house one Sunday many moons
ago.

Blessings,
William

Yep, Ronnie and Toby were buds, and he is a 'brother', brother... He does have a heart to preach and if not a pastor, an evangelist. He has a full time job just with his 'own congregation'( he and his wife has 12 children, plus grandchildren...)I always kid him about his full quiver and how happy he must be... Laughing
