So whats going to happen here. Any prophets in our midst? Its only been 3-4 months. I think one way or another Trump is going to leave the presidency. Either quit or get put out.

It looks to me like he is trying to run his administration like he runs his business and its not working very well. He has surrounded himself with people he trusts. The problem is they're as politically naive as he is.

From where this interested outsider stands it just looks like mass confusion there in Washington. And getting worse. Some of it is the fault of the Democrats and some the media of course. But Trump and his team just don't seem to have any political smarts.

I didn't and don't like President Clinton. But he and his team certainly stick handled (hockey term there for those of you unenlightened) his way through and out of some very disturbing circumstances.

I agreed with President Obama before the election and certainly now that the man isn't fit to be president. I don't understand why so much of the christian world believes this election result was of the Lord.

The only good I can see coming out of all this is if Trump leaves Pence would take over. He certainly has strong christian and conservative credentials. From the little I read about him he seems to have some good political instincts.

Martin Luther said "I would prefer a wise Turk (infidel) to a foolish christian as governor" or something very similar.

Please don't take my comments as criticism as they're not intended that way. I just think in a purely secular sense whats going on can't be good for either America or the world.

I'm not so sure that this is accurate. (And no, I'm not a prophet!)

I also wouldn't say that Trump is down for the count. Even the most casual observer (including myself here) can not discount the fact that this man has overcome the odds time and time again which only strengthens the notion that he comes out of this victorious.

Believe it or not Mark, there is still a huge ground-swell of grass roots support for the man here in the US. You're not going to hear about it of course because of those who wield the reigns of power are united in their opposition. This group includes a large portion of both Democrats and Republicans (those Republicans who have a vested interest in the political structure that has dominated American Politics for a long time!) and almost to a man the media.

I may be proven wrong (tomorrow!<grin>) but when you consider that these elements have been against him from the beginning of his campaign working overtime in their efforts and he is still standing?? ... one has to marvel.

Well, I certainly don't believe this in the way you meant but I find it hard to believe that the 'divine' element is missing!

Blessings,
William

Where do we get our information usually? From one or more of the media outlets, and they are almost all overwhelmingly liberal. I think the foothold Satan has gained over the last few generations he doesn't want to give up. All the subtle and not so subtle changes in the moral fiber of this nation are entrenched within those who fought for them and they don't want to relinquish them.

Will we see the overturn of Roe vs Wade? or same sex marriage? or any other of the immoral laws the courts have deemed as right and legal? Maybe not, but time will tell. The Supreme Court can change the laws, but only God can change the hearts.

btw: I'm not a prophet either, but I believe that since the Bible reveals to us that God is sovereign over all things, that He is in control of this. Does He give us fee will? yep, but ultimately His will will be done. As a nation America has the opportunity repent and change or continue on in the downward moral spiral.

A phrase I've heard from childhood goes like this, "don't put all your eggs in one basket". My 'eggs' are in God's basket, and my hope is in Him. I do 'hope' President Trump is able to effect positive changes and turn America in the right direction.

But as far as the news media goes, there's a new word going around, fake news... think about it.

Well I'm happy to be corrected. You guys know more about him than I do.

Interestingly enough there was a big article in the paper today about him. The last paragraph said he had sky high approval ratings throughout the country. I had no idea until William said that. All I ever read is how terrible he is and impeachment is next.

Here is a question. Can (would) he be impeached by the Washington establishment if he has sky high approval ratings from the rest of the country?

I ask because I hear about it constantly.

Reminds me of when Reagan was in power. The media etc hated him and couldn't understand why the whole country loved him.

James I'm going to have to go back to thinking and reading more critically.

I'm not sure I'd call it 'sky high' but it's definitely a lot more than you'd think listening to the media.

I don't think it is Trump they like. In fact, I think that the man himself is his worst enemy but it's the 'buck-the-system' idea that appeals to his supporters. (That's just my opinion, obviously.)

I do think that they may be able to impeach him no matter how much support he has in the country. His supporters are not the movers and shakers in the political realm so they would have little to no influence when that big political machine is revved up to the red line.

Blessings,
William

You may not be a Prophet William as you say but your words written in your posts here, sure have come to pass since this post was written.

Andrew Jackson , Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton were all impeached at one time. I heard the rumor that if a president was impeached by the house and not the senate that the president who was impeached can run two more terms, Is this correct?

Pence is from Indiana and for some reason the media here does not like him, they were against all of his policies here in Indiana. Pence and Trump both are against abortion.

I don't know what will happen this new year, 2020, but I hope there is not a lot of violence if Trump is reelected. I always heard the elections are always motivated by how the economy is doing, will have to wait and see.

Either way; Daniel states clearly that the Lord is the one who governs the kingdoms of men and He will be the One who puts the man in office He wants.

In Him,
Gary

Even though the House has voted to impeach the president, the Senate is controlled by Republicans and they won't vote to impeach. That's the reason Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is holding back the articles of impeachment, always politics.

While President Trump isn't a godly man, God is sovereign and if it is His will for him to be re-elected, then all the liberal attacks in the world won't stop it. And the same goes the other way, all the Republican votes can't save him if God is through using him for His purposes.
The two more terms doesn't sound right, but since I'm not involved in the political world, I don't know for sure.

Greetings elijahx. Welcome to O/O. Why don't you tell us a bit about yourself. I'd also be interested in why you believe you are a prophet. Please note that is interest not criticism. How did you get a call?

I mostly agree the whole thing is a den of evil. With lots like you mentioned going on behind the scenes. It was nice to see him speaking at the march for life today. First president to ever do that. Other than that how is he a modern Cyrus?
