Four letter words.

There are a lot of four letter words in the world that don't edify but the opposite is true in the Bible.
What of the four letter word "will"?
Many, many versus tell us that if we do thus and so the Lord will do thus and so.
Mar 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Here is a verse that puts the "will" on us. We have to will to deny ourselves. It cant be a casual will but a determined obstinate will. Here is the dictionary definition of obstinate, firmly or stubbornly adhering to one's purpose, opinion, etc.; not yielding to
Argument, persuasion, or entreaty. 2. Characterized by inflexible persistence . I am quite sure that when the Bible uses the word will that is what it has in mind.

When we look at all the "wills" that it promises the Lord will do there is no variation, no wavering nothing that will prevent His will from happening, if we trust and obey the word.

Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father willl also forgive you:

Pretty plain. Pretty concise.

Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: Our responsibility, His promise.

Mat 19:19 Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. How do we accomplish that? We have to "will" to obey. Not an easy thing to do but we are commanded to do it so it must be possible to do.

We have often heard that self will is bad, but in the context of what the Bible says I have to be sure my will, my self will is stubbornly fixed on the word and to keep my will in line with the Fathers will. That's what Jesus did. Not my will but thine be done.

What will we do?

OBEY...

Here's another four letter word that puts the responsibility on us. So many today preach a false gospel that says we're saved by grace(and we are), and that the liberty we have in Christ doesn't require anything else (such as obedience...which is an act of our 'wills'...though we can't obey without His grace and mercy) Remember, most spiritual deceptions are usually 90% true with many scriptures included.

I counted over 145 scriptures on obey/obedience/obedient/obeying,(and they aren't all OT either). One of my favorite verses on obedience to God is in Acts 5:29 where Peter told the Sadducees, council, and high priest, "...We ought to obey God rather than man." Notice he didn't say, I'm free in Jesus and don't have to obey His commands and instructions...No, he knew that as part of his walking out his salvation with fear and trembling, he had the responsibility to OBEY God in boldly proclaiming The Gospel, even though it was going to cost him dearly.

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,”

This scipture come to mind when I see "professing " Christians doing anything but OBEY.

Luk 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

DENY

D - Don’t give in to the world, the flesh, and the enemy. It is just that simple of a decision.

E - Enjoy your walk with God. Yes, ultimately it is about denial, but the fruit of doing so brings joy. Praise Him for what He has done for you. Worship Him for what He will do to keep you and your loved ones in the future. Honor Him with the sacrifice of praise that faith is a force to be reckoned with and that those things you desire are done. You are now just going to watch His faithfulness unfold from here on out to the very, very end. It ain't over 'til it's over. Thank Him for only seeing you through His Blood. If you have blown it, ask Him to forgive you and pull yourself up by the bootstraps. Whether people believe it or not, there is a heaven and hell and everyone will go to one of those places. If anything, we are not going to burn eternally! I, for one, am happy everyday for eternal life as I observe the walking dead all around me, let alone all of His other benefits. I truly grow in peace and contentment as my heart leaves this world more and more. I mean, seriously….is this world really what you want?!? I rejoice and am so happy that this world is not the all and all and the end of things. I, for one, can’t stand being here. It is a sloppy mess and I can’t wait to get out of it.

N
- No whining! "Not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord." Overcome with the Blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony (faith), and love not your lives unto death…..I said death as in physical, not just walking the crucified life. Knowing you are in this world, but not a part of it, is an awesome weapon during persecution. Most, if not all, persecutors are afraid to die so they end up being the cowards, or walking dead, that they really are unless you are believing for them. They don’t have any kind of a spine, let alone win during a stare down. They can’t say or understand, “It is finished!” There is an eternal and powerful reason why the demon on "The Story of Jane" tape referring to Calvary said, "If we just would have won that one...if we just would have won that one." I really do hope you "get it." Also, are you watching this world racing into a one world system, the Bible and prayer not being allowed more and more, and God’s time piece; Israel? If you do not understand any of those three things mentioned, I would recommend investigating the issues. Prophecy is unfolding before our very eyes. The Sanhedrin was reestablished October 2004 in Tiberius; Isaiah 1:26-27 fulfilled. The Temple Mount Institute’s (TMI) express existence is for restoring the Jewish Temple to the Temple Mount of Revelation and reinstituting Temple Mount worship. Everything has been put in order for that kind of worship except for the ashes of a red bull. There is a farm in Missouri that has produced a couple of red bulls with two or three grey hairs. The bull must be unblemished. Someday, a perfect red bull will be produced. Why? To fulfill scripture. It will happen. Any day, the Antichrist could be unveiled and he will be walking up those steps at the Temple Mount. Anytime, Rev. 12 first fruits rapture could occur, if you believe in it. I believe many will be called to be martyrs. No one is greater than the Master. Losing your head or going to hell is certainly going to wake up a sleeping and powerless church! Please review the Revelation outline under the NT topic.

Y
- You are the only one who can choose to do all of the above. I am preaching to myself as well. I fight everyday and I fight hard. It is not getting any easier. I am not trying to be a “Debbie Downer.” These issues are reality if you are walking with Jesus. If people have not turned from you due to your stand with Jesus, something is very wrong….very, very wrong. The stance they see in you either draws people to Jesus, or they hate your guts. Yes, I said hate. There should be people putting you down, shaking their heads, and trying to destroy you and your family due to your love for Jesus and what you believe. Again, no one is greater than the Master.

As you know, all glory to Him.

I think I love to write so I can write a particular book and tell of God's faithfulness in overcoming. People are welcome to pray for Him to show me what to do. I really don't look forward to reliving some things just so I can get it on paper.

We will see....

WILL...DENY...OBEY...

Matthew 16:24

"Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man WILL come after me, let him DENY himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

Philippians 2:5-8

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became OBEDIENT unto death, even the death of the cross."

Following Jesus is not walking down an aisle and 'going up front to the alter' to 'accept' HIM,(although it can be the beginning)

following Jesus is WILLINGLY taking up the cross and DENYING oneself and becoming OBEDIENT unto HIM in ALL things.

btw: imwo(in my weightless opinion) I see this as a form of Body Ministry; The Lord using different members of The Body (in different locations) to minister His truths to members of The Body for edification and encouragement...I can't see The Holy Spirit being limited in where or how He uses believers...the key is for the believers to be yeilded and willing to be used. The ideal situation? NO, but it's where we're at today. So IN it, I rejoice and am glad.

MIND.

Common attributes of mind include perception, reason, imagination, memory, emotion, attention, free-will and a capacity for communication.
So we see the mind can also be our will.

We are commanded to use our mind in love of God.
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Luk 8:35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind. We see that a person can be in their right mind or otherwise.

Were not to be of a doubtful mind.

Luk 12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. Mind.

Were to have a readiness of mind Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

With all the references of the mind what should our mind be.

May I suggest the mind of Christ. What is the mind of Christ. I believe the answer is in Phil 2

Php 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Php 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Php 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Php 2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

That I pray is our goal.

Taken from The Harlet Church System If it is not OK to copy this, let me know and I will delete it. Just some play on words.

"For men to come out, they must first understand these things. Then they must repent of them and come unto Me with a pure heart.

I will deliver them. I will separate them and cleanse their defiled hearts. I will dress them in readiness and prepare them for My banqueting table. I will feed them the good fodder of My word instead of the indigestible twigs of men's mind.

Who can digest the human intellect? Who can swallow its lies and deceits? The answer is everyone. For man is stupid and devoid of knowledge. (dumb GWB)

But he who has My Spirit will hunger and thirst after Me, and I will reveal My nature to him. He will come unto Me, and I will sup with him and he with Me. He is the one who can come out of the harlot.

"A fierce war has begun in the heavenlies. All hell is loosed to destroy My bond-servants if they could, but they cannot even so much as touch them because they are dead and hidden in Me.

This is why the fear is so compelling. It is real. Nevertheless, My bond-servants will, indeed, follow Me wherever I go at all cost to their own lives."

"Why is it so hard to leave Babylon? Why can't Christian people just walk away from it?"

"The harlot is ugly and hides her ugliness in gaudy garments and decorates her face in lavishing colors. She hides behind these things. She is ashamed of her sin. Yet, she will not repent. She cannot repent. She is evil from within."

"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it." Mark 8:35.

The trumpet call is sounding: "Come out of her, My people!" "Let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach." Heb. 13:13.

Love...

"This is my commandment, That ye LOVE one another, as I have loved you."John 15:12

" Beloved, let us LOVE one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." 1 John 4:7-8

Loving one another is a COMMANDMENT from Jesus, not only is it a commandment it is proof of salvation.(he that loveth not doesn't know God) It is also the way the world (all men) will know that we're HIS disciples...By this (LOVE) shall all men know ye are my disciples, by your love one to another.

No finger pointing here, just self examination...(we're told if we'll examine/judge ourselves now and make the corrections needed,(repentance) we won't have to be dealt with later to our regret)

If loving others is the testimony of our/my life, then what is our/my testimony? Are we easily identified as disciples of Jesus' by those observing our walk?

I do know this: we can't esteem/love others above ourselves if we aren't daily dying to SELF...loving one another requires giving up our 'feelings' and desire to be ministered to, and seeking the mind of Christ in all things...including being a servant.

Many...

In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus is teaching on the 'two ways' and how to identify them; and also how to identify the righteous from the unrighteous, and reveals 'the fruit test'...

Two ways...

V13 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

V14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it.
"

Fruit test...

V16 "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

V17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

V18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

V20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

V21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

V22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

V23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
"

In Matthew chapter 24, Jesus tells the disciples what signs will be that will reveal His return and what the end of the world will be like. Jesus spoke this:

V4 "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

V5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

V10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

V11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

V12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
"

The time has never been more important than it is today, to be diligent to make our calling and election sure (II Peter 1:10). It's not the time for looking back; removing our hands from the plow; allowing isolation or pressure from whatever source to cause our hearts to start longingly for the fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlic of Egypt. MANY will fall, turn away, return to that which they've been delivered from, be deceived for lack of being grounded in God's Word.

The Jordan is rising (Jeremiah 12:5), many will not be prepared, they'll not be ready due to lack of exercise of their faith and their endurance will be weak and they'll grow weary...

LORD, give us hearts to cast off every thing that would hinder us from finishing the race that's been set before us, to hear You say, Well done thy good and faithful servant.
