So whats going to happen here. Any prophets in our midst? Its only been 3-4 months. I think one way or another Trump is going to leave the presidency. Either quit or get put out.
It looks to me like he is trying to run his administration like he runs his business and its not working very well. He has surrounded himself with people he trusts. The problem is they're as politically naive as he is.
From where this interested outsider stands it just looks like mass confusion there in Washington. And getting worse. Some of it is the fault of the Democrats and some the media of course. But Trump and his team just don't seem to have any political smarts.
I didn't and don't like President Clinton. But he and his team certainly stick handled (hockey term there for those of you unenlightened) his way through and out of some very disturbing circumstances.
I agreed with President Obama before the election and certainly now that the man isn't fit to be president. I don't understand why so much of the christian world believes this election result was of the Lord.
The only good I can see coming out of all this is if Trump leaves Pence would take over. He certainly has strong christian and conservative credentials. From the little I read about him he seems to have some good political instincts.
Martin Luther said "I would prefer a wise Turk (infidel) to a foolish christian as governor" or something very similar.
Please don't take my comments as criticism as they're not intended that way. I just think in a purely secular sense whats going on can't be good for either America or the world.

This group includes a large portion of both Democrats and Republicans (those Republicans who have a vested interest in the political structure that has dominated American Politics for a long time!) and almost to a man the media.

Where do we get our information usually? From one or more of the media outlets, and they are almost all overwhelmingly liberal. I think the foothold Satan has gained over the last few generations he doesn't want to give up. All the subtle and not so subtle changes in the moral fiber of this nation are entrenched within those who fought for them and they don't want to relinquish them.
Will we see the overturn of Roe vs Wade? or same sex marriage? or any other of the immoral laws the courts have deemed as right and legal? Maybe not, but time will tell. The Supreme Court can change the laws, but only God can change the hearts.
btw: I'm not a prophet either, but I believe that since the Bible reveals to us that God is sovereign over all things, that He is in control of this. Does He give us fee will? yep, but ultimately His will will be done. As a nation America has the opportunity repent and change or continue on in the downward moral spiral.
A phrase I've heard from childhood goes like this, "don't put all your eggs in one basket". My 'eggs' are in God's basket, and my hope is in Him. I do 'hope' President Trump is able to effect positive changes and turn America in the right direction.
But as far as the news media goes, there's a new word going around, fake news... think about it.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."

I'm not sure I'd call it 'sky high' but it's definitely a lot more than you'd think listening to the media.
I don't think it is Trump they like. In fact, I think that the man himself is his worst enemy but it's the 'buck-the-system' idea that appeals to his supporters. (That's just my opinion, obviously.)
I do think that they may be able to impeach him no matter how much support he has in the country. His supporters are not the movers and shakers in the political realm so they would have little to no influence when that big political machine is revved up to the red line.
Blessings,
William
I want to believe!
