I don't know if anyone else is experiencing abnormal weather its just not the same up here.

We use to get big snows, drifting and some ice in the winters. Now its all rain. Last spring it started raining and rained clear up to late June.

There's an old saying here that goes: "Corn should be knee high by the fourth of July". There was a farmer who took a photo the year before last, he was a fairly tall man, in the picture he was standing in his corn field with his arms stretched high, you could barely see his hands above the corn it was so high. Last year he was standing in the same spot and the corn was growing around his ankles.

This morning its 53 degrees and and is suppose to get up in the sixties, and its pouring down rain. We have had forties and fifty range all winter with lots of rain. We only had one day or two of snow.

They were predicting a lot of snow this year. I don't know if global warming is the factor in this, I read an article that said the polar caps were freezing back over.

Even though its raining and warmer out I do like it, I don't have to go out and shovel the drive. Cool

In Him,
Gary

Bad thing is hardly anybody uses E85, the stations are spread out over six states. You have to drive a hundred miles to find one.

Today is starting out with 60 degree weather and high winds, who ever heard of these kind of temperatures in January.

William I can picture you guys down there with 80 degree weather, with Spanish moss hanging from the trees, while your sipping your lemonade on the front veranda.

You guys got it made! Cool

Actually we're under severe weather warnings with tornado watch covering most of the state of Alabama. This long band of severe weather has destroyed property and killed people to the west.

We are finally getting down to more normal temperatures. Its been in the twenties and thirties here. We just missed a huge ice storm, it poured down rain all day then the temperature went back down. Everyone up north got the ice.

Years ago we always had big snows during the month of January and February. I still have my Grandmas old snow shovel to prove it. LOl Always wanted a snow blower back then but thought most of the time it would be taking up room. Glad I didn't buy one now.
