I was a member of the Toronto group in the early 80's. We met at the family home of Pastor and Mrs. Allan Tomlinson. I am hoping to get back in touch with the members of my former church.

I would like to know where all of you are, and what you all have been doing.

I am also wondering if anyone knows of an assembly that worships as we all once did.

Please write.

Hi Sean,

I too wish for a place that worshiped as we did during that period!

There was a Canadian that had owned a car dealership somewhere in Canada (I know, big country!), but I cannot remember his name. He was a very extroverted evangelist that could talk a blue streak!

In the early 90's he had made a couple of trips to China and had really fallen in love with the Chinese people.

I've wondered what he is doing now. Maybe the "Tim Horton's man" knows?

Blessings,
William

You're talking about Hodge Hadley. It was his brother that owned the car dealership. He was living in Indianapolis(?) and part of the church there for several yrs. I last heard he moved to be part of a church down your wsy. State escapes me. Actually I was going to send you a note and ask about him. There is suposed to be a church somewhere close to you he is a part of. Maybe I have things mixed up here. Alabama I think.
I just found his email and he's been on my mind so i think I will get in touch.

Yep, that's the man!

Perhaps he moved to the Birmingham assembly before Oswalt left?

Blessings,
William

Praise The Lord Jesus.

I Know Hodge Hadley that you a spoke about.

Jesus has been so faithful and longsuffering to Hodge and his bride Arlene of 46 years over these last 27 years. They are down in Auburn-Opelika Alabama USA. They are preparing themselves by the grace of God to be ready when Jesus comes for His bride and to go up in the first fruits rapture.

His brother was a car dealer in Toronto where they lived before they were saved. He was a car dealer in North Bay ON Can when they were saved. They lived in Syracuse IN and went to Faith Assembly from 1985 to about 1996. Then they went to the Bread of Life before they moved to Sand Hill Bible Church in Alabama in May of 2003. They never lived in Indianapolis. He went to China about twice a year from 1988 to 1992. He and his bride lived there from Mar 1993 to July 2007 then they were deported because they were Christians! The Lord Jesus is doing a good work in them and all at Sand hill bible church!

They have not given up the Faith but have added to it!

Time is so short and we need to be ready to endure to the end.

They will be in Toronto in June 2008

May the Lord Jesus bless you all and bring us to the end of ourselves

Welcome Hodge!

I'm so glad you and your wife are doing well!

I do remember your passion for China. Will they still let you visit?

Blessings,
William

Yes, we've met. I live in north Alabama, near Florence. I believe that you came to a church we attended in the early 90s. I want to say that the brother, who was at one time a Wycliff translator in Indonesia, was with you.

We were at Faith Assembly from 1978 to 88.

Blessings,
William

Dear William

We were there in Florence with Jeremy Nichols and Hal Garber. I remember Hal was up in the balcony praying in tongues quite loudly when we were speaking.

What is your last name? Did you used to go by Bill? Were you a Word Minister in Ohio or anywhere else?

We were at Faith Assembly at the same time. Did we ever meet there?

Lord Bless you

Right! I know Jeremy, but I couldn't remember the other guy, Hal Garber.

I'm not sure if we ever met at FA, but everyone knew you there!

William is my name but I also answer to "Bill" on occasion.

At the time you were here I was teaching some at the church and also at a drug rehabilitation center not too far from here.

Blessings,
William

alabama?

I support a very close friend and missionary from that part. Maybe everyone here can remember them in their prayers too. He follows the faith walk and wasn't associated with FA, but knows about it.

www.abundantlifecrusaes.com or tonyabram.com

Keep them in prayer, I believe he fulfills the role of an apostle. I know, those are touchy words.

What does an apostle do? Teach, preach, and establishes churches basically.

Whatever, if y'all have a hernia over that, just pray and bless the guy ok?

cheers
tom
