SIGNIFICANT DATES: 1. The Islamic State.

History shows us some of the reasons for what is happening in our world today. Specifically here: The Islamic State.
After WW1 the Ottoman Empire of the Middle East was divided up by the league of Nations. Borders were made specifically for Iraq, Syria & Jordan. Today these political boundaries are being done away with by the Islamic State.
This has great Biblical significance, I believe.

FORMATION OF 3 NATIONS & THEIR BOUNDARIES.

1920 Iraq`s borders demarcated by the League of Nations & placed under the authority of the United Kingdom as the British mandate of Mesopotamia.

1920 Syria was established as a French mandate.

1922 Jordan (Emeritus of Transjordan) was officially recognized by the council of the League of Nations & under their mandate.

INDEPENDENCE OF THE 3 NATIONS. (Borders still in place.)

1932 Iraq gained independence from United Kingdom.
1946 Syria gained independence from France.
1946 Jordan gained independence from the League of Nations.

ISLAMIC STATE REJECTS POLITICAL DIVIVIONS BY WESTERN POWERS.

2013 ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq & Syria) formed from al-Qaeda in Iraq. Also known as ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq & Levant (Syria).

2014 IS – Islamic State. Declaration of the Islamic State covering much of Iraq & Syria.
They disregard former political boundaries & form a new province from part of Syria & part of Iraq, & name it the `Euphrates` province. They capture the Jordan – Iraq border crossing & seek to move into Jordan where they have much public support.

FUTURE PROJECTION

2015 ->
- Consolidation of the Islamic State.
- Removing more old barriers of territory between Iraq & Syria.
- Move into Jordan.
- Eventually a `peaceful` leader will arise & relate to the Western Powers.

I think that this last statement kinda sums up the end-game that's being played out in the Middle East.

Think about it... here we are in our smug sanitized society and suddenly we come face to face with one of the most brutal actions that one human being can do to another -decapitation... we hear about this brutality, see it take place on video, and what does this do to us? It sets the stage for anyone who is just a smidgen less violent to win the hearts of the Western world!

Heck, we're ready to get behind anyone who can stop the gruesome images that keep coming from that region. The stage is set. I hope we are ready!

Blessings,
William

I don't know if you can get PBS Frontline documentaries in Alabama but I think you can watch them online.

On October 28th their going to have a special called: "The Rise of Isis". Their documentaries are very interesting.

Here's their site:

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/

We spent two trillion dollars on the war in Iraq. Four thousand soldiers died and 30,000 were wounded. A very big price to pay considering that now someone is taking it over by force.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for that very interesting view. Just shows they had no idea of the Sunni & Shi-ite`s conflict underneath. They armed the Shi-ite`s & of course the Sunni`s would counteract. A civil, religious war.

I`ve been waiting for this to happen for over 35 years, as I was taught that this area would come back into prominence.

Do we want to discuss what God says will happen now? And where that is in His word?

Hi Marilyn,

I'm just in reading mode right now, still got a lot going on here, I'll be glad when it slows down.

Anyway this is all very interesting.

Hi Marilyn,

I'm surprised this Isis group is targeting Australia, America I can understand somewhat, but I always thought Australia was considered more of a neutral country.

Maybe everyone in the West is considered a target. It's sad that some human beings have nothing more in life to do then kill innocent people.

Hi Gary,

Concerning Australia, we are part of the (British) Commonwealth of Nations. We & you (America) are seen as the group that is against them (IS). And probably if there wasn`t oil wells that we are all concerned about, we`d leave them (IS) to form their own state.

I`m very glad `you & I` are really not apart of what the nations do. We, as the Body of Christ are coming to maturity in Him and then the nations will be brought together & then judged, as we all know.

Marilyn.

Hi Marilyn,

Yes we have a lot to be Thankful for, I cannot imagine going through the constant wars with all the violence taking place daily.

I know a lot of people discredit the Christian influence in the West but I tend to think this is why we have been blessed.

Even though I don't get into the xmas celebrations I think its interesting the Government is quick to remove manger scenes and the ten commandments from their front lawns.

The West is now quick to embrace Hinduism, Buddhists, and even Muslims.

You Aussies sure do your homework on all these world events. I think most of the news we get is slanted or bias so you don't know what to believe when you hear some journalist.

If nothing else I think Marilyn has made a good case concerning ISIS and the coming world leader.

I read a recent article where Isis is now threatening to blow up the White House and has made a video telling everyone their threats.

There is no way the authorities can track every individual in this country. I hope it does not come down to this (bombing innocent victims), but our borders are not as secure as we would like to think.

This group is nothing more then a bunch of vicious psychos who perpetrate violence and fear. In their deluded minds they actually think their going to heaven after they destroy other human beings.

Now we see Russia is involved with Syria. The middle east and Europe is in total chaos at this point in time.

The Nations would gladly accept a World Leader to come and resolve its problems.

It will be interesting to see what goes on here. With America awash in oil now they don't have a direct interest in "keeping the peace".

As far as Israel is concerned there in the middle east I think Jordan is the linch pin. Egypt is the strongest nation by far and at peace with Israel but even leaving aside the supernatural it wouldn't take much to see it fall into chaos like the others. I think if Jordan goes it will only be a matter of time before it hits Egypt. Leaving virtually the entire middle east opposed to Israel.

Saudi Arabia and the Sheikdoms are all quite vulnerable as well. I guess thats a long way around of saying that Marilyn may be right. A strong Muslim leader the entire region could rally around. Very possible.

I'm still sticking to my belief though that the Antichrist will be a Jew arising out of Germany. There is lots that has to happen before that hits though.

Anythings possible and we probably won't know until it happens if it takes place in our lifetime.

The one thing to consider is:

The Arabs hates the Jews so would they be willing to accept a Jewish world leader so readily? This leader is going to be telling them what to do to keep the peace?

Secondly, the Anti-Christ will go into the Temple and declare he is God during the tribulation. It's hard to believe a Jewish person would desecrate the Temple after it is restored. I can see an Arab making a covenant with the Jews and then trying to set himself up in the temple seems more logical.

But anything is possible, for me its easier to see the Arabs accepting another Arab as a world leader. I think that is one of the prophecies they are waiting on to come to pass, they call it the 12th Iman. Don't know for sure what is contained in the prophecy of theirs. If all that's true that I heard, they would accept an Arab World leader with open arms, thinking it is the 12th Iman they have been waiting for.

ISIS definitely has evil intent and are probably playing a part in bringing about the fulfillment of prophecy of the last days, but I can't help but think of all the other groups down through history of which this same statement could be made. Misguided and deceived people killing others in the name of God or Allah, believing they were doing God a service.
