Most will see the marvelous works of Jesus in quick reading. Those works reveal a thing about Jesus that is only seen by the Spirit.

1. The leper healing. Matt. 8:3
2. The faith of the centurion. Jesus marveled. Matt. 8:10
3. healing of Peter's wife mother by Jesus Matt. 8:14-15 of a fever.
4. He cast out many devils. Spirits. Matt. 8:16
5. Jesus calms the storm. Matt. 8:26-27.
6. delivering demons in two men and send to swine. Matt. 8:28 to end of 8.
7. The whole chapter shows works of Jesus. But one verse shows what is amazing when looking into it a little deeper. Matt. 8:17.

All of this ch. points to the prophesy of Isaiah. Isa. 53.
What if we look deeper? Mark 2:7-10. Before the cross we see Jesus forgiving sins. Not on himself but just forgiving. Then the people are healed. He is being seen as a man yet he is God.

We see also that he is manifesting by the Holy Spirit. Matt. 3 the dove cymbal. He is not a sinner who must be born again. He is God.

He is doing these things in a small amount at a time. On the cross he will call all mankind in all nations-- to believe. sin was not going into him before the cross it was all about forgiveness. He paid the ransom price with his own blood. Isa. 53 by his wounds we were healed.

The prophesy was confirmed by the living Jesus before the cross that is what is amazing. Now he ever lives to make intersession for us so we can confess and apply Isa. 53 by faith and be healed and delivered. Just like Jesus did.

In 1 Sam. 1-2 we see that the great high priest spoke words to Hannah and she walks away in joy believing in Eli and his words. How much more our great high priest Jesus. Heb. 7:24-25. We confess like Jesus in Matt. 8:17. The centurion said just speak the word and it shall be done. Matt. 8:10

We were taught long ago about confessing God's word by faith, some had a problem believing, that includes a relationship with God and his grace. People may go to a church for a thanksgiving dinner and never be seen again. God doesn't work that way. He wants a daily relationship to give his benefits.

faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.
