Anyone heard of this group? They are on Paltalk Sunday nights. Their room is called Unleavened Bread Bible Study. I know very little about them.

Seems like they teach the message of the Manchild (overcomers). Also they speak of trusting God for their healing.

Michael,

I was the one who posted their site.

I have been listening for three years.

Last night Howard Pittman spoke (excellent)

Hi Ilene,

I know I have touched on this group on a forum somewhere. Where is the thread you mention?

I don't think I started a thread. I just suggested the

site on one of my postings. Howard Pittman was on Wed

evening. I think he spoke at FA. It seems as though I

heard him speak before?? If you want to hear him go into

the site. On the left click on bible studies then choose

unleavened bread (unedited) it was July 2

I am glad the Todd Bently fiasco is being exposed!!!

Another site is Trunews.com (Rick Wild)

I have been reading on that site. I must say that SO FAR I am impressed. Particularly with the teaching on the catching up of the Manchild.

Ok I just found an audio on the headcovering. Seems they also teach that New Testament truth as did Faith Assembly.

Now I am seeing some things on this site about natural child birth and a lot on the sovereignty of God. The leader is David Elles. He reminds me of Hobart Freeman with more love.

I read through the site when it was first posted and found that it was pretty interesting. If I remember correctly, some of his personal testimonies *seemed* to be a bit of a stretch, but I'll go back and give it a second read.

Blessings,
William

Your post caught my attention, I've been reading the healing testimonies on that site.

Sounds like stuff I used to frequently hear from FA people, not so often these days. Crying or Very Sad

Guess it shows we didn't have exclusive ownership of the message of faith...

Although I must say, I've been blessed by some of the recent testimonies of healing reported here on this site.

Ok here is my initial judgment. It is like most groups I have liked over the years. They may have some great truth yet be lacking in some area.

Sad to say upon further examination David Elles (unless he has changed his doctrine)seems to be an Arian. He rejects the truth of the Oneness message as well as Trinitarianism.

On those areas I mentioned earlier I get an excitement from his teaching. On this most important matter of who Jesus is his doctrine is weak and leaves me flat.

Jehovah Witnesses are "Arians". They believe Yeshua is the Son of God created before the Universe but not God himself. This is also the belief of David Elles.

On his site is an audio called Oneness, Trinity, or Truth. He details his belief there.

Go here:

http://www.unleavenedbreadministries.org/?page=sabs-OBS

Look in the second section of audios. It says something like these recordings are not broadcast quality. Go down to the third to last one and you will see it.

Thanks Michael... you just saved us all a bunch of time!

Needle in the haystack doesn't even come close to describing this one!

2Kings 7:3f also comes to mind, but please don't take offence... "the pot calling the kettle black" has been directed my way a few times!

I'm probably not making any sense at all this morning, but it is because I haven't had my meds yet (caffeine!)... stayed up almost all night listening to the audio put out by this guy.

Blessings,
William

2 Kings 7:3

3: And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

I dont get it?

Anyway the man says the doctrine of who Jesus is is not important. Calls it majoring on minors.

I know this may sound odd.....however. As I listen to this guy (only about a week so far)I think he actually teaches the full counsel of God more accuratly than did Bro. Freeman.

Matter of fact I would not at all be surprised if he had Bro. Freemans influence along the way. Look at some of the names of his teachings. Almost exactly the same.

The testimonies of trusting God for needs are just like at Faith Assembly. Not that Faith Assembly was ever the only ones who trusted God but they did stick out.

True I am disappointed on his teaching of the Godhead but I was likewise on what HEF taught.

I think I will spend some time on this site and see if the Lord has something for me here.

I have now listened to about 30 or so messages from this web site. Cant vouch for everything taught there. But it is perhaps the most interesting site on the web imo. Lots of free video, audio, and printed studies.

The faith teaching is challenging to me as was HEF. The message of discipleship and holiness has kept me coming back for more.

This probably isnt the correct way to do this but since it pertains to the last days, David Wilkerson has a new message out called "A fresh baptism in the Holy Spirit". What a powerful and necessary word for today. It really blessed me so hope will bless others as well.

Here is the link http://media.tscnyc.org/wmedia/20080727S1.wma.

There is an audio only version there as well.

I should have checked the link first.

Just go to http://www.tscnyc.org/ and you will see recent sermons.

Sorry about the mixup.

The first link works... you just put a period after it which caused it to fail... remove the period and it opens up in Windows Media.

Blessings,
William
