I had a big answer to prayer this week. I feel like shouting it from the housetops but there aren't any suitable housetops here so you guys will have to do. Sorry if its rather long but wanted to give an explanation.
Quite a few years ago I stopped for lunch with the crew I was working with. There were these snap tickets (for a charity) everyone was buying so I bought a couple. .50 cents and win 1$ 10$ or whatever. When I snapped it open here came as clear as anything I've ever seen right down from heaven the deep abiding concern of the Lord for me. I didn't know what I had done but I knew it was serious.
Over the next years I didn't notice anything wrong but tried to deal with it in various ways. Always in the back of my mind wondering and worried.
About 15 yrs ago I started noticing a shortness of breath. I didn't connect the two but noticed it. Walk across the parking lot to go in the office and have to slow down. Walk upstairs at home and have to lean on the end of the bed to catch my breath for 5 min. Lie down in bed and have to work to get my breathing under control. At work dropping a trailer ( tractor trailer) sometimes it is easy sometimes one has to exert a bit. On two occasions I over exerted myself and had absolutely no breath. Very upsetting and scary. Hard to describe but I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone. I was very very careful after that.
When you're in a trial fear can be such a big issue. The Lord showed me several weeks ago the fear when going to bed was making things worse. After dealing with that going to bed at night was much easier.
Some time ago I started a series of fasts to deal with some problems in my life. The breathing issue was in the back of my mind but wasn't front and centre. Up until this time I still didn't connect the snap ticket with the breathing problems. Then about 3 weeks ago the Lord reminded me the charity for the snap ticket was the heart and lung association. Then he showed me I was dealing with a Spirit of Emphysema. Since I was on this series of fasts I was able to deal with it. I rebuked it then prayed for healing. Sometimes after deliverance one has to pray for healing for the damage that has been done.
For several days I watched carefully to see if it was really gone. Its all gone. I was so grateful for what the Lord had done for me. For days after when I remembered I would stop lift my hands and thank him. Profusely!!!
I would like to add for my bro, & sisters out there in the christian world with some big problems there is an easier way to get answers. Deliverance, healing, get rid of poverty, kids family loved ones with problems
I wrote a post on it some time ago which I will link below. If you're God's man (women) of faith and power there is no need to read further. If like me you just want the Lords help then read on. The Lord has given wisdom on the matter.
Sometimes big problems need big fasts. The Lord has shown me an easier way to do it and since he will allow me then I'm going to shamelessly take advantage of it. You don't have to prove yourself worthy. You don't have to earn an answer. Dying out to self is important but all you're looking for is an answer to prayer. Jesus paid the price. Again if he has given me an easier way to get big answers then I am going to shamelessly take advantage of it.
