What is the difference between true Biblical discernment and having a critical spirit?

Most would agree there's a serious lack of true Biblical discernment in the Church, and when someone does speak out against error, they're often labeled as having a critical spirit.

I posted this question in the Bible Issues section so we could discuss it in light of God's Word. (As opposed to a definition like, "If I think it, it must be true Biblical discernment, but if you disagree with me, you've got a critical spirit." Rolling Eyes
