Almost daily we see the increased effort by the government, media, and institutional religion to shine a favorable light on Islam. We're being told from almost every side how Allah and Yahweh are the same God; how Islam really means submission to God; how the Quran is just like the Bible; that just as the Jews have Moses and the Torah, and the Christians have Jesus and the Bible, Muslims have Mohammed and the Quran...and they're all the same.( and those who believe differently are hatemongers, divisive, intolerant, and bigoted.)
Just today I was reading how Mohammed 'really' believed in Jesus and the differences between Islam and Christianity was just a misunderstanding and not really different at all. Sometimes we get focused on the 'false prophets' of today that are viewed regularly on the christian TV networks and over look possibly the biggest false prophet ever, Muhammed.
Matthew 7:15 Jesus warned of false prophets...610 years later Satan used Muhammed to launch the biggest deception ever upon mankind...How many souls have been destroyed by this lie? As we live today there are over a billion Muslims on earth...
"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,”

God's view of false prophets...
Jeremiah 23:
25 "I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord.
29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that steal my words every one from his neighbor.
31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord."
So if Mohammed is a false prophet,(and a study of his teachings and prophesies show him to be), then Islam is a false religion, (for more than one reason, but mainly be cause Islam doesn't teach that Jesus is the only way to eternal life...John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him,I am the way, the truth, and the life: NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME." ) and if Islam is a false religion then it has to be a deception/delusion/snare from Satan. That means that billions of people have been deceived through history and all the religious tolerance in the world isn't going to change this fact.
We should love and care for the Muslim people (and sharing the truth of God's Word and Jesus is loving them), but going along with the institutionalized, humanistic, one world religious system that says that Allah is God Almighty and embracing Islam as acceptable and established by God Yahweh, is not following Jesus.
“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,”

Of course, you are right-on concerning this James. Couple what you've
said with the fact that Islam is both a religion and a political movement
and trouble is a'brewing. At this point I can't see that they are
powerful enough to become a world government, but isn't this the kind of
thing that we are expecting to happen in this end-time?
It's not unlike the same kind of things we've been hearing about the
designs of the Catholic church in its quest to become the world's
religion. Throw in the dominion theology of present-day charismatics and
we've got a recipe for an alliance to beat all alliances!
The deity of Jesus is a main difference between the Islamists and the
rest, but even with this difference (assuming that there is a difference
in Catholic theology), the Catholics and dominionists with their deluded
notions, don't strike me as being better alternatives. Maybe it will come
down to a fight between the so-called 'good' (Catholic/dominionists/and
the rest) and 'evil'(Islam) with the 'good' winning out as the dominant
group.
Then the rest of pragmatic Christianity would side with the Catholics,
leaving the rest of us (outcasts) to fend for ourselves as targets of the
great persecution that would naturally result.
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man
deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall
deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be
not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not
yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in
divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill
you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax
cold.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Blessings,
William

Yes, it's exactly what many of us have been expecting...for a long time. You know II Peter 3:8 says; "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with The Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." But for me, a mere man, 30 years has at times, seemed like forever; yet at other times it seems just like last week that I first began this spiritual journey.
And for sure, the race is not a sprint...may we all be counted among them that endureth unto the end, and hear those words we long to hear..."Well done thou good and FAITHFUL servant."
you don't want to get me started on Catholicism...

Here is a testimony by a former Muslim, Kamal Saleem who became a Christian over 20 years ago here in America.
It shines more light on Islam and Jihad and this false religion and their false god, Allah.
It also shows God's love for those who will turn from serving Allah to serving The Living God...How will they hear without a preacher?
This was shared with me by a sister in The Lord as I was writting the above post.

The Lie...
II Thessalonians 2:5-11
V5."Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
V6. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
V7. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
V8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
V9. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
V10. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
V11. And for THIS cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe A LIE."
So we see 'why' God sends a strong delusion (which in the Greek means "energy of deceit"); because the TRUTH wasn't Received and Loved. So what is this strong delusion and what is THE LIE?
So what is the strong delusion? Is it any one thing or is it that God allows different things to delude and obstruct mans ability 'see' the truth and have a love for it that would result in salvation? We know that SIN when left unchecked results in death, we know that when people ignore their consciences after a while they become hardened to any convictions by God. I believe living a 'worldly' life and being caught up in the cares of this life will results delusion. I believe that it is a delusion that causes the majority of Americans to enbrace Hollywood imorality, liberal lifestyles, and the false religious system with it's ungodly, unholy, anti-christ 'we're all OK' mentality.
I'm reasonably certain that there have been a multitude of messages or sermons preached using these verses from Thessalonians 2, and 'the lie' has been said to be numerous things... The 'lie' of Catholicism; the lie of universal salvation; the lies of false doctrines such as JDS, Mormonism, JW's, and all the 'new age' humanistic trash that has infiltrated the religious institutions of today; the lie that homosexuality is OK; the lie that says all paths lead to God and christians shouldn't judge how other religions believe. Then there's the LIE Satan told when he told Eve, "Ye shall not surely die..." that one did major damage to mankind.
Wouldn't Islam be near the top of the list for LIES? "That they all might be damned who believe not the truth..." V12. I don't know of any other lie that has deceived as many people as the one which Mohammed was used to declare.
“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,”

Last month a small Presbyterian church in Chaska, Minn. invited a Muslim man to read a part of the Quran to their church. The theme of the message was "One Voice" and the Muslim said he was promoting a message of peace. He also said, in response to the threatening to burn Qurans in Florida, was, "Learn, not burn."
I understand the position of 'loving' all people, and I agree that a Christian should willingly share the Gospel with all men. But in inviting the false message (Quran) into the church with the intent of showing the harmlessness of what the Quran teaches, by having a Muslim read it, is just another step towards a 'one world religion' and promotes the curent trend among so much of today's churches that all are worshipping God, whether it be Allah or Jesus...imo
