Speaking in another language is the key. it is a superior language from God. Also if you study the connections you will find all the curses upon mankind are removed by Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the earnest-down payment for all the rest of our inheritance. That would be opposite of all curses to all his blessings.
Babel was one of those curses. Yet at the same time, God gave mercy by the proclaiming the gospel to the nations and their languages. tongues would be God involved in that process to cause a even greater restoration and removal of that curse.
The evidence was the beginning of that return of all nations to faith in God.
faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.
