I met a young man recently at physical therapy and he had a tattoo on the underside of his right arm that said, "Exodus 20:15"

I asked him about it and he said he was a baseball player in college and his position was catcher... thou shalt not steal.

I have a nephew who is a firefighter and he has Isaiah 43:2 tattooed on his ankle, "when thou walk through the fire, thou shall not be burned "

I read this scripture today:

"I have been young, and now am old: yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." Ps. 37:25

Maybe I'll get a tattoo of that.... Cool

maybe not

Hi James and all,

Just stopped by to say Hi, and glad to see everyone is still hanging in there.

I like the scripture:

And even to your old age I am He, and even to gray hairs will I carry you. I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Even though were not under the law, Lev. 19:28: You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.

Don't know if I'd stick it on my skin through, I think I'll pass on the Tattoos. LOL

Hey Gary,

Great to hear from you, I often have wondered about you, if you're still around, obviously you are and that's good news.

I am so glad we're not under the law, but like you, I think I'll pass on the tats...but I no longer entertain judgmental thoughts when I see all these folks with them...it's almost like a plague sweeping through society.

I never had a problem with judgemental thoughts concerning tattoos some of them look neat. At one time I was considering on getting one. A while back I seen a your teenage girl in a restaurant wearing short shorts, every area of her body was covered with colorful tattoos. Only one little 5" square was real skin. Lol I don't know if it is the same down there, but here local everybody and their brother is getting tattoos, including the elderly. I see now where you said its a plague sweeping through society. Its the craze right now.

I've been very busy since I retired, in fact I'm trying to find out what the situation called "retirement" means. Right now, I have been working on memorizing scriptures. Thinking about starting some small business.

I was reading where Hezekiah was given 15 more years on his life. I was thinking that didn't sound like very many years. Then I thought of the scripture that says the Lord will give us 70 years and if by strength 80.

If the Lord allows me to live to be 80 that would mean I have 13 years left. I thought 15 didn't sound so bad after all, time goes by so fast.

A lot is going on in this country, I don't know why someone would want to do away with the freedoms, they'll never get them back if they change the laws.

Glad to see everyone is doing good.

Gary

Retirement, I have clients every year ask me when I'm going to hang it up, I always answer with, when I can't do it anymore. Doing income taxes doesn't require much physically and only working hard for three months out of the year it's not overly stressful. So I plan to go til I can't. 😄 I enjoy helping people, many who I've prepared taxes for for many years, and consider them as friends.
Another factor for me it s that I've been self employed all my life so it's not like "the company" is giving me a gold watch and stock options. 😂

My mother ran a U S post office until she was forced into retirement at age 84.

BTW: Auburn 48....Alabama 45 War Eagle 🦅

Who needs a gold watch and stock options when you've got your's laid up in heaven. Of course after reading Gary's note (Hey Buddy! Great to see you again!) I can't imagine that you'll get over that Auburn win in those extra 15 years!

Congratulations & Blessings,
William

William,

You know what they say "you win some and then you lose some".

When I left they gave me a stack of Starbuck gift cards.
