Substack Newsletters
Its probably old news to everyone here but substack is a marvellous site. Anyone can jump on start a newsletter and say whatever they want to the world. There are some very interesting people on there. Intelligent experienced knowledgeable educated people writing about interesting things. Some of them have 100's of 1000's of subscribers. With 10's of 1000's paying 5$ or 10$ a month to read. I get a couple of free ones and a couple I pay for. It has really opened doors for some. Some well known journalists left their media and started their own newsletter. There are simply too many for me to keep up with them all. Lots on geopolitics.
One I shared here a while ago is Michael Oren. Former Israeli ambassador to the US. Highly articulate and intelligent and worth reading. I also get a couple of Canadian ones. Everyone should sign up for those. After all Canadian news is world news right?

My point here is that I'm setting up my own substack. From what I see there is about 200 or so people who read here. Not sure where all the other views come from. I feel like I have something to say to the christian world. Sometimes the Lord gives me wisdom on some subject or I see things others don't see. I'd like to able to say that to the wider christian world. Not sure what to call it yet. Feel free to offer advice. Actually I'm stumped for what to call it.
No idea how often I'm going to send out a note probably like here whenever I have something to say. I've posted a fair bit of material here and I'm going to lean on that to some extent to start with. Although I'll probably expand on it or lighten it up a bit. Usually when I post here its to people who for the most part sat under a deeper word than much of the christian world so sometimes I feel freer to speak my mind. The point being in posting out there I'd like to encourage or edify and not cause someone to stumble.
Some as I said make huge amounts of money on the site. Without trying to toot my own horn I have no real interest in that. Years ago when I saw that the Lord had sorted out my fiances I set interest in money aside and started to seek the kingdom. The point being I'm not going to charge for it. (not sure anyone would pay for it anyway) Plus I don't have a big ministry to support. I just feel I have something to say to the christian world and substack gives me that opportunity.
Lastly I'll need some space to learn. There are all kinds of buttons and different ways to set it up. I'm not a computer whiz like William. I'm just a rube from Southern Ontario. I'm still going to post here. Its my home on the internet after all. I come here first in the morning. Still trying to sort this out. Starting with a name. I was going to call it Meanderings by Mark. Then I googled it and found it fairly common. So back to the beginning. As soon as I sort it out I'll post a note here.

Man, that's a fantastic idea!
There's all kind of directions you could go with a name like MARK! Mark It Down, Mark It Up, Mark My Words, Making My Mark, Overcomer's Mark, Mark of a Saint, Lead Mark (think pencil lead), Don't Take the Mark, Walk in the Mark, Mark Barks, Mark This, Mark History (or History Mark), Mark Time, Mark Point, Pencil Mark, Grease Mark (okay, that was just my sick humor and wouldn't work unless you use actually use Brylcreem on your hair!), Mark of the Times, Mathew-Me-Luke&John, Mark Your Bible, Mark&Sow, Punch Mark, Left (or leaving) My Mark, X Mark, C Mark, Free Mark, Leave's a Mark, Draft Mark, Beauty Mark, Serious Mark, Canadian Mark (like the German Mark, but different!), Take the Mark, (some of these might need a subtitle!) Meadowlark Mark... you can see I'm winding down!
Anyway, I'll sign up even if you charge!
Blessings,
William

Allright!!! I think I have Substack sorted out. I don't cross my fingers but if I did thats what I would do to make this work right. Substack has too many bells and whistles that I have no interest in. All I want is a plainJane newletter to express myself. So I think if anyone is interested they can click on the link and sign up to get by email everything I write. I also think you can just click through and read without signing up. Anyhow everything is free.
I'm going to send it out everytime I have something to say. I'm hoping for once every week or two. I will be using some of the notes I have posted here in the past as well. Although probably edited to some extent.
Let me know if it doesn't work.
