It has been said there are over three thousand promises in the bible. I wonder how many promises most confessing Christians can name.

Here are just a few.
Ps 32:8, "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."

Mark 9:23, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."

John 14:18, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."

John 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

'The Lord has always expected His people to trust Him in all things. The greatest complaint He had against the children of Israel is that they kept forgetting what He had done for them.

Zeph 1:6 NLT And I will destroy those who used to worship me
But now no longer do.
They no longer ask for the Lord’s guidance
Or seek my blessings.

Worse then forgetting His benefits They don't even seek His guidance or His blessings. God wants to Bless His children just as we as earthly parents want to bless our children. He wants to guide us in all His ways.

The psalmist in Ps 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:Most cant remember a few benefits and yet we are to remember them all and claim them. We Bless God when we believe and trust what He has provider for us.

Mark8:18Having eyes, see ye not? And having ears, hear ye not? And do ye not remember?

Remember, remember remember.

Jer1:12
The LORD said to me, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled."

Be blessed

Lord grant that we will not forget your benefits.

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

1 Cor 15:1-2 (KJV)

Thanks Grandom for the reminder to "not forget." I must admit there have been times at work I have forgotten the Lord's promise that all things work for our good, and got in the flesh. I felt awful afterwards, but it was too late as far as being a good witness that day. But like people say, Christians aren't perfect, but we are forgiven. Thank God for the blood of Jesus. I must remember the command to be slow to speak, and quick to hear, and how a soft answer turns away wrath.
The Lord will use whatever and whoever to prove us and test us, and that is not always the most pleasant thing, but the Lord knows it is certainly necessary for us to learn to be like Jesus.
