Have to start with v.1-2 which is about praise and music worship which I will be doing after this sermon. My studies reveal a very modern view as well as historical view. it is jaw dropping. (fig.) of speech.
1. the historical.
In Persia, modern day Iran, When a ambassador or special guest came to the King there. There is a custom of opening their mouth wide and fill it with marvelous tasting meats. The other was of open there mouth and fill it with Jewels. They would cram it full. Of course not to hurt.
2. The modern.
D. Trump went to Arabia recently. He was fed a feast by the Arab leaders and given a Jet plane. You see this is a continual custom in those lands.
3. For several years I have been experiencing Ps. 81:10.
How? Well first of all--I serve the King of Kings. In 2Cor. 5:20 we are called to be ambassadors of Christ.
Also, Ps. 103:5 He fills our mouth with good things so our youth is renewed like the Eagles.
The word of the Lord. God is offering his kingly gifts and miracles to those who long for them and if they delight themselves in the Lord he will give them the desires of their heart. sow seeds of righteousness and reap a harvest. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.
In him we live and move and have our being. God bless in Jesus name.
faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.
