Can this person be righteous? He walked away from God's plan for his life, was quarrelsome, lived close to the world and its ways, was unequally yoked with unbelievers, resisted God's correction, was prideful, fearful, offered family members for sinful purposes, was involved in sexual uncleanness, had little or no Godly order in his situation, was spiritually irresponsible with his loved ones, was critical, made excuses to God for his attitudes, became involved in sin that resulted in severe ongoing consequences for all future generations, and there is no available evidence that he ever repented. Most, if not all Christians, know of this person. You make the call. My guess is most of you know of him.

My main point is if a person professes to be a Christian and lives like Lot we cannot tell them they are going to hell or "have left the faith". The only thing we can say is the Bible gives them no guarantee of salvation. One could add: feeling lucky? Wanna role the dice? They also should be reminded that Lot did not have 66 books, the indwelling Holy Spirit, the blood and name of Jesus and all else Christians are provided with.
