Ants on an Anthill

That's what the world reminds me of. Shaking their fist at creation and thinking they(we)are the top of the heap. Then some kid on a bike rides over the anthill and falls down. Annoyed so gives it a mighty kick. There go the ant and anthill. Reminds of so much of the world.

He that sits in the heavens laughs . . . Ps. 2

I read recently of some atheist saying if he does exist he has a lot to answer for. After reading that I thought yes you tell him that on judgment day.

They can look at creation and look right past it completely disregarding everything it is telling them. God is speaking through his creation that he is here and he is not silent.

The heavens declare the glory of God . . . Ps. 19

Looking at this world and seeing so clearly how it is set up for us to live on.

Rom.1/21 They knew him as God . . . and their foolish hearts were darkened.

That atheist saying God if he exists has a lot to answer for really reminds me of that ant on his anthill shaking his fist at the heavens. An infinite personality who created an entire universe out of his spoken word. Give him a piece of your mind on judgment day. Or better yet just refuse to show up and send him a sternly worded letter.

Ha! That's a good one!

A couple of weeks ago, when everything seemed to be burning due to the racial tensions, and coupled with the rampaging fear of that virus, I didn't think of the ant, I thought about the plight of the white person. It seems as if they are tiptoeing around the cemetery, whistling in the darkness, glancing around every second or two to make sure they aren't being followed. Too fearful to say any thing, do anything, just paralyzed by fear. It's a shame really, all of this hoopla over race. Race. A non-existent, culturally conceived and designated, lie. All of us, black, white, (really just varying shades of brown) come from Noah's family (who, of course, were descended from Adam and Eve). Where can you find 'race' here? At the tower of Babel? That was a confusion of languages, not a producer of different races. (I'll leave the nephilim out of this discussion lest my arguments become unstable.)

Anyway, can you tell I've been listening to the EXCELLENT new series put out by the Answers In Genesis people? It's a series of interviews with Nathaniel Jeanson, and wow! You won't be wasting your time!

I watched the first two of that series. Very interesting. Going to watch the rest. I've been doing a lot of reading on our origins etc from both Christian and secular sources as I find the whole subject very interesting. He was commenting that evolutionists are going to have to do some reexamination soon. That doesn't surprise me as I have believed for some time it is going to be discredited. As I have said before I think it will be replaced with something partly science and partly mystical.

Anyway thanks for the link. It looks like there is a lot of interesting research there.

Answers in Genesis seem to have some good material. I've been watching some of them. Nathaniel Jeanson made the point (in passing) that with a 6000 yr old earth then Noah's son Shem outlived Abraham. Some of the other fathers did too. There are men I have a lot of respect for that believe that as well. Bro Hef didn't and I don't. I don't think those genealogies were a father to son list. They were more like fathers of generations. AIG has a lot of good material I just don't understand how they can hold to that position.

I've been looking at Genesis with some of that in mind and came up with a whole lot more questions than answers. I've been looking at my notes on Genesis but I didn't seem to take good notes so I ordered the survey tapes from Faith Ministries. I know Bro. Hef took a lot of time with Genesis and I want to go over that again. Anyway I'll post some of my thoughts when I get some time. Maybe you guys might have some insight.

Brothers, I am so sorry to have missed these discussions , for whatever reason I haven't received any notifications when posts are made... and I just trudged along through my seemingly forever tax season, wiping down doors, chairs, desks, pens, keyboards, mouses, etc. day after day. Masks and gloves, fear and worry, angers and doubt, conspiracy vs compliance... I've seen it all in the faces of people...I had the solution, Jesus... I did my best to share the truth of The Gospel... what better opportunity has there been? More listened than ever before.
If just one when home and sought The Lord and read The scriptures I shared, then it was worth the long days...
