We all probably know what works. Also we learn by our mistakes.
1. There is a proper time for a command.
a. not when we want the kids to do something.
b. not out of a selfish motive.
c. not to embarress or show others our power.
2. How can we deal with them?
kids respond to love. They have feelings and don't always understand. All they know is you are giving a order out of your thinking.
They may not agree. They don't really have the right to question, but also they do.
What if a stranger told them to do something, we would be glad then that they questioned.
How will we ever get them to sit on our lap or gather for truth if they don't feel comfortable around us. Jesus as a child instructed elders. For me I am all ears for anything my kids want to say. If a child is moved by the Holy Spirit we just may get instructed.
My grand daughter did that once. was just early 5 in age.
As someone was talking about cookies, she didn't hear them. She was busy talking to me , she turned around and offered a cookie. She wasn't aware someone nearby was talking about cookies. Nor aware that the Lord gave me a revelation which included the word cookies. The imprint still remains in my heart because the Lord wants me to never forget what he showed me.
Many times the children show their heart to me because they feel comfortable. Was not embarressed when my daughters friend said to her, your dad is cool. that resulted in he and I sitting down together playing six string gospel music. bottom line children are so sweet and love them very much.
They need a friend not a dictator-- don't forget that please. I was raised under the policy children are to be seen and not heard. Maybe that's why it is difficult to communicate. Kids need to learn to be not rude but also feel welcome to participate, that works if they are trained to wait their turn. Just like when you are going to prophesy, each one in turn gives their gift. Two cannot talk at one time.
Bottom line is the world can be a lot of fun but we must reveal a greater interest. If not they will reject us. By the way quit confessing over them they are rebelious. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. God bless all parents with grace to raise up those quivers of arrows.--- they are blessings.
faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.

Several years ago the falling under the power started. Even for me was not under the faith message. My close brother in the Lord when he went under the power he had visions while laying there.
He was at the same time going home and having fights with his wife. He was very shook up by his experience though. By first hand experience I have fallen under the power and it was a real power not just suggestion.
One of the reports from Brownsville was that people were being thrown literally accross the room. Some even got hurt but they said if that is the way God wants to do it then it's okay. One lady where I went fell and banged her head on the pew and they carried her to the hospital by ambulance.
If you haven't been to these strange meetings it is not recomended. to get around occult powers is dangerous just to feed curiosity. Then if you haven't been you'll only be guessing as to what it is and all that.
The bible says in the last days(now) there will be false prophets who do great signs and if it were possible deceive the very elect. The main reason for mentioning Hinn was because the two greatest things that are leading our youth away from the truth is temptations and false ministers. The youth for the most part are not willing to descern the false like those who have had a good diet of truth.
The youth today are so into rock music that they cannot see that it is a mixture against true worship. As it is those in the church today go and sing and make music at church but don't worship the Lord the way he wants to be worshipped. That's not to criticise , but once the supernatural is excluded it is just flesh. Would add that you have to start somewhere, so if the heart is moved enough by good inner heart touching music and words about God one can make headway into the presence of God. It is needed though to have a clean heart to enter God's presence. Inner spirits must be dealt with if they would hinder. deliverance is supernatural to , so that eliminates more people from the worship in truth and Spirit group.
faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.

When someone falls down and reports their feelings and/or visions it proves nothing.
It may or may not have been really the work of God.
All humans are subject to great surges of emotion given the proper input.
Examples:
When they think God has walked into the room
When they think God has spoken inside their mind for the first time
If they think God has just made them fall down
If patriotic - seeing the flag along with The Battle Hymn of the Republic song
whenever Lassie the dog saves the day and makes it back home <-especially with music
It is a bio-chemical thing inside the brain.
=========================================================
If God really did walk into the room (real theophony) then
there would be a surge of emotion within a person's mind.
If the person thought (in error) that God walked in then
the same surge of emotion would still happen.
Same with visions -> real visions compared with images from the person's human
intellect - both will cause the same emotional responses as long as the
person truly believes it was a supernatural vision.
The emotions DO NOT prove that something supernatural happened.
They prove the person thought that something supernatural happened.
If we validate/accept supernatural events based upon emotions felt
by the people telling the story then we are being undiscerning.
