Just thought I'd stop in and say Hi.

I hardly ever get on the internet except to check out the fake news. LOL

Hope everybody is doing fine.

I'm still reading the gospels over and over but here lately I have been going through the five books of Moses. There is a lot in those books I think I'm starting to grasp more and more by His Spirit. He said he would lead and guide us into all truth. Amen!

I think the Lord our God is greater then what our minds can even comprehend.

Anyway I might post some later.

Gary

Hey Gary,

It's so good to heard from you, I just mentioned you to Marilyn in a PM just a few days ago. If nothing else it's good knowing you're still following The Lord and growing in His Grace daily.

Fake news? You got to be kidding, if it's on TV or the internet then it's got to be true, right???

Mark has been posting tons of stuff from his notes and study material that HEF taught.

I tried to get back on several days in a row here and I kept getting an error message. I don't know what happened but I checked it a little while ago and everything start working again.

William just went to sleep at the wheel for a moment. That or
He had to change the oil and rotate the tires. LOL

Some of these posts seem dead serious.

Does anyone know if Grandom is still around? Just wondering. I'm trying to post from my cell phone, too lazy to go down to my computer.

LOL, Hey, If I can do it, so can you. I just broke down last week and got a new phone. The 2004 Razer finally died and they don’t make them anymore, or fix them. So I got the “smart” Apple iPhone 6s Plus. I’m thumbing this...not near as fast as some can but much faster than trying to text on the Razer.

I put off taking this step for as long as I possibly could but alas, I had to enter the
21st century. I do have to admit it’s cool to check the sport scores at any time from any place.

I can’t wait to hear Williams’ commits...lol

I have an Android, sometimes it shows the word before I can type it so it makes it a little easier.

I went to Sam's Club today scanned everything as I put it in the cart, totaled out the amount paid with it on the phone then bypassed the cash registers and long lines and went out the door. A greeter at the door scanned my phone and said see ya.

It was nice avoiding the long wait in the lines.

I’ve got a ton of stuff to yet learn about this device, but the things they can do really amaze me... especially considering I have been completely ignorant of them and how to use them. Using a computer for 30 years makes it easier.

Speaking texts and telling the phone to call someone blows my mind...but then that’ s not so hard to do... I just don’t know how we did without them throughout history.

In the world of Construction this is the greatest tool ever. I have commercial customers who send me pictures of items they need on a job site and I can tell them instantly what we have or can get.

It helps to see the product without someone taking a half a day to come and try to describe what they want in person.

Like the old Chinese proverb: A picture is worth a thousand words.

I can now go to different web sites, and look at the jobsite with pictures taken with a drone to check on progress. We have a web site here local that shows the property from a satellite view that is fairly clear that can be accessed.

I know what you mean about reluctantly its like George Orwell missed it by just under 40 years. There's some stuff that is not good like being watched all the time in our spending habits.

We got the Iphone 6s a couple of years ago and I don't know what I'd do without it. I use a bluetooth in my ear and do almost everything using the voice commands. You can text (read and reply), make calls, check email, etc..

I haven't done the Sam's checkout thing that Gary mentioned yet, but he makes it sound so easy that I'm going to take the plunge in the next week or so.

The battery still lasts all day (and sometimes 2 days). My wife said that Apple has offered to replace the batteries on older phones if you take it in to an Apple store for under $30. The offer expires at the end of the year, so if you are constantly having to recharge it might be a good ideal to look into that.

Hey, I guess you've acquired the ability to text now... I'll have to send you one!

Blessings,
William

Ha Ha, I'm so unsure of what I'm doing that I 'think' I sent you a text back but I can't figure out how to see what I've sent and if it went through...lol I always knew that I'd have to do this at some point (you just can't buy the Razer anymore) just like my car that's 16 years old...when I replace it I will have to have all those new fangled things I don't really desire...

Some things I appreciate more than others...I'm glad I don't have to start a fire with sticks to cook a meal, and I'm thankful for a car so I don't have to ride a horse 45 miles to work everyday.lol But there are many things I have no interest in...but that's just me...I have no problem with the tech junkies who get in line for the latest great new thing...whatever floats your boat.

Actually communicating through this medium (computer) is far easier that hand writing letters...or sending smoke signals.

Well, if you did reply to my text I didn't get it yet!

You'll get the hang of it though!

I'm not sure what the file size limit is but they do have to be in either a gif, jpg, or png, file format. The actual pixel size is 100x94 (or at least that's what mine is... you could probably go for 100x100 and my guess is that it would work.

If you can't get it to the right size just send it to me and I'll get it in the right format.

Use my gmail account: pickamind@gmail.com

Just attach the file to the email and I'll send back the proper dimension size and format.

Blessings,
William

P.S. It will be nice to have some other old guy's pic to help beautify the place!
