I listened to Bro. Freeman's tapes, via the mail after I first got saved. My two brothers were already members of FA. Then in 1981 we moved up to FA from San Antonio. So, we began in the new building. We moved back to Texas at the end of 1987. I am a Purdue grad, and I have been a teacher here in Texas for over 20 years. But, FA has colored my life deeply. Sometimes I have fond memories and somethings are very painful--like everyone else. My name is Margo Cooper.

Welcome Margo,

Thank you for reconsidering and coming back to this forum.
It "can" be a place of healing and growing if we will allow
The Holy Sprit to minister through us.

Hombre posted in response to your posting yesterday,

"Let's see what we can do to help one another now".

IMO, that should be our focus...

Listen, share, pray for each other, encourage, admonish in
love(if needed), bear one anothers burdens, be longsuffering,
slow to wrath, and always mindful of God's Word and applying
it to our daily lives.

The Word tells us not to seek to be many masters, knowing the
greater judgement will be on them. So let us lift one another
up; edify each other in love and truth, without hypocrisy and
judgemental additudes.

In II Timothy 4:2 Paul tells Timothy to,"Preach the word;
be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort
with all longsuffering and doctrine."

Yet,as I write this, The Holy Spirit keeps reminding me of what
Paul wrote in Corinthians 9:26-27
"I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I,
not as one that beateth the air:
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection:
lest that by any means, when I have preached to others,
I myself should become a castaway."

William says,"I want to believe"... I too want to believe...

BELIEVE WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY LIVING GOD'S WORD,
not only in our own lives, but in the lives of others.

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,”
