Well it looks like now East Africa, Iraq along with Saudi Arabia along with others is being over run with billions of locusts. I seen a clip with a guy showing them crawling up his pants, those things are huge.

This will wipe out a large part of the vegetation. A number of clips have been shown on facebook. At this point I'm having trouble trying to find news agencies covering the story.

This isn't making light of this at all, but I was reminded of John the Baptist living in the wilderness and eating locusts and wild honey. I wonder if this is the same type locusts he ate 2,000 years ago? I do know they are high in protein and are eaten in some cultures.

I thought the same exact thing, was this the type of locust that John the Baptist ate when he was on the earth.
