I came under the message back in 1978 or so in Missouri while I was still in the army....along with a number of other people. Some who later moved to FA, some moved on to Tom Hamiltons meetings. I stayed in Missouri for a few years. At the time Harry Albright was coming down to teach, but passed the meeting off to someone else. I started a meeting of my own. I had Tom Hamilton come out to minister at the time and then I was invited out to Zion Lake.
I later moved to Calif. started a meeting with just my parents, and shortly afterwards, we met some others who were receiving Dr. Freemans tapes, and met together and started a church in San Jose Calif. I was able to take a trip out with my family in 1983 to visit Faith Assembly, and stayed with Carolyn Robinson who was friends with my wife. We had opportunity to meet Dr Freeman and his wife June....it was a great blessing.
Over time I established contacts with Jeff Barnett, Steve Hill and Jim Oswalt. I had Jeff Barnett come out to Calif a few times, and Steve Hill came out once. I had a pretty good relationship with Jeff, and I was able to come out to minister at his church in Acton, and then we ministered together at Zion Lake for a labor day weekend tent meeting. When I moved to Arizona and took over a meeting there, I was also had a good relationship with Jim Oswalt. I had him come out and minister with me in a conference I was having in Arizona, and he had me come out and teach at his church in Birmingham. I do recall in private conversations I had at the time with both Jeff Barnett and Jim Oswalt of some schism they were having.
When Jeff and Steve were introducing us to this group from Kansas City and Paul Cain, I had all kinds of red flags and talked to Jeff about it and expressed my concerns about my observations when they had their December conference in Indianapolis that year.
I was able to go to England and minister for 10 days with the body there...which opened up a lot of doors at the time. But with the going's on with the KC "prophets" et al, I distanced myself from them. So, overtime I lost contact with most everyone I knew. I am in Indianapolis now.

Hi Robert. I just wanted to say that Joe Brennamen over at Faith Assembly was a clearing house for those looking for old friends for a long time. He used to run Faith ministries until Kathy took it over. If you're looking for anyone in particular you could probably find info through him.
Here is Faith Assembly's link.

Mark,
Thanks I will check it out. I had contacted Kathy Kinsey several months ago, we corresponded some by email. She did mention Joe Brenneman was the pastor? at FA. I do remember Joe and had a lot of his teaching tapes from years ago. I appreciate you passing along the info.
In Christ,
Robert
