If it weren't so sad it would be funny.
After a steady diet of compromise decade after decade has the Christian Church really come to the point that they are willing to bid "god speed" to their favorite candidate in tomorrow's election?
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
My question is: Does voting = bidding "god speed" to your favorite candidate?
Will Christians really cheer when they play "Hail[God Speed] to the Chief?"
I'd rather sing "God save the Queen"... at least it might be a bit more scriptural.
This is what happens when one starts down the road of compromise... compromising your beliefs in order to support a so-called christian nation... tsk, tsk.
Now it is a choice between a self-confessed Christian who supports abortion and a Mormon who denies the deity of Jesus Christ.
Christians everywhere have certainly backed themselves into a corner. Unfortunately, many don't even know it.
Blessings,
William
