Do I have hell in my heart?
2Cor 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Is Jesus in us or do we have hell in our hearts?
Since being saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, Do I Harbour anger against any one much less a brother?Mat 5:22
I have hell in my heart if I do.
Since receiving the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues, Can I control my tongue. Are my lips clean and free from cursing, or gossip, criticism, backbiting etc. James 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. I cant control my tongue according to James so if I still have the issues with the tongue couldn't one conclude that there is no real Baptism. That I really don't have the power of the Holy Spirit in my life? If one claims to speak in tongues and cant control the tongue I don't think scripture holds out much hope that the Baptism really took place.
If I do all these things I have hell in my heart.
What other sins should I list?
Lying, stealing,lust, envy,sexual immorality. Make your own list. If any or all abide in my heart then I have hell in my heart.
Mark 8:34 Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. The cross had only one function. That was to put to death the person placed on it. Today it is an item of jewelry that really doesn't mean much of anything to the wearers. Unfortunately there isn't much mention of the cross today. We want to hear them blessing versus. Don't preach those dieing versus. After all there is plenty of time for that. I want to prosper, live in a nice house drive a nice car, have money in the bank. Tickle my ears, don't prick my flesh.
Oh God, Remove from me any hell in my heart
Ps 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God;
V17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart.
