Thanks James for putting the link to this book. I haven't read it for a while, but reading it online sure is encouraging.
On page 47 it says:
The greatest barrier to people being healed is their uncertainty of it being Gods will to heal all. I would say this could also apply to all areas of our lives, whether it be healing or being debt free or freedom from fear or family salvation, or anything else. It all comes down to knowing God's will.

Once we know Jesus and the Word of God, and spend time with Him in prayer it helps to know what God's will is for all the promises we have been given. Thankfully healing is one of those areas. We all can share of healings in our lives.
Whether it is healing of a headache or a heart attack, it is all the same to God, one is not harder than the other. I think some stumble because healings are not always outwardly manifested instantly, but how can we ever grow in our faith if we get everything instantly? We are called to believe God's promises not matter what.
All the promises are yes and amen in Christ. 2Corinthians 1:19-22.
Jesus bought our healing for us, we should be so grateful for this.

"Before people can have s steadfast faith for the healing of their body, they must be rid of all uncertainty concerning God's will in the matter. Appropriating faith cannot go beyond one's knowledge of the revealed will of God. Before attempting to exercise faith for healing, one needs to know what the Scriptures plainly teach, that it is just as much God's will to heal the body as it is to heal the soul."
pg.15; 'Christ the Healer', F.F. Bosworth

Knowledge and Revelation, of His will...That's what Paul prayed for us to receive in Eph. 1:16-23 It's all part of our inheritance, bought and paid for by Jesus at Calvary.

"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him;

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, acording to the working of his mighty power."
