Hi Gary,

We have been looking at Daniel 7: 11 & 12.

`I kept looking until the beast was slain, & its body was destroyed & given to the burning fire. As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but an extension of life was granted to them for an appointed period of time.`

Here we see the `terrifying beast,` has been dealt with by God but the other beasts – the lion, the bear, the leopard powers – are given an extension of life, into the Millennium.
Gary, you asked some interesting questions which may bring up some discussion, which is why I started it on its own thread.

Now you said –
Quote:

`I was thinking about the people who come out of tribulation & go into the Millennium.`

Quote:

`1 .Will these people have the mark of the beast?`

No these people going into the Millennium will not have the mark of the beast.

`If any one worships the beast & his image, & receives a mark on his forehead or upon his head,....he will be tormented with fire & brimstone ....& the smoke of their torment goes up forever & ever...` (Rev. 14: 9 – 11)

Quote:

`2. Who is left during the tribulation that would refuse the mark?`

There are a few different groups in the tribulation that don`t take the mark of the beast, & are still alive to go through into the Millennium.

a) Israel – those who flee to the mountains & are protected by God.

`when you see the abomination of desolation ....let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;....` (Matt. 24: 15 & 16) `And it will come about in that day that I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour out on the house of David & on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace & of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced...` (Zech. 12: 9 & 10)

b) Nations – those who look after the persecuted Jews.

`the time is coming to gather all nations & tongues. And they shall come & see My glory. And I will set a sign among them & will send survivors from them (Israel) to the nations;.......that have neither heard my fame nor seen My glory. And they (Israel) will declare My glory among the nations. Then they (nations) shall bring all your brethren (Jews - Israel) from all the nations....` (Isaiah 66: 18 – 20)

Just like in WW2 many people looked after the Jews & hid them or fed them or visited them in prison etc. And these people of the nations during the tribulation also looked after the Jews. They did it because it was the right thing to do, not because they had any understanding of God. Note, many people hideaway during the latter part of the tribulation when the mark is mandatory. They would have to feed off the land or have supplies put away in remote locations.

Also it would take awhile for the Anti-Christ & his army from around the world to police every person. Those who like their comforts would quickly give in while others who realise that they would become `slaves,` of the system, find ways to go to `ground.`

There is more in scripture but that is a start.
