As a boy growing up my mother taught me a fairly good ethical life. My father worked day and night. They took us to many denominational churches through our life. 4 brothers. The other 3 were behavior problems when not at home. My life was better at a young age then went way down hill.

When Jesus saved me Christian meant following Jesus teachings. I was different from other Christians as I wanted to follow the bible rather than the join the club attitude most had.

it was a major change when I started sharing Jesus. There was this peaceful presence, esp. when telling about Jesus. while reading scripture the words spoke out to me like God was talking to me. then there was a pattern of reading words about Holy Spirit. That led me to the Baptism of the Spirit and tongues.

now God would live through me and not have to act on scriptures from my own thinking. Then I began to meet Jesus and also have him help me change from past things ,some difficult. He has been my teacher though I have been to many churches. I learned to look at others faults like Jesus does. When they wronged me I would just forgive and pray for them--like the book says.

In the Hebrew language there are 27 or more words to describe sorrow. In Isa. 53:4 Jesus carried our sorrows and not our sins. He
forgave our sins. If we understand that is in the plural--sorrows, that would be taking the place of our punishment.

2 Sam. 22:5 look at v.3-4. They show us a description of v.5. saved from violence and enemies. Then in v.5 the figure of sorrows being floods and sheol. (hell). Isa. 59: 19 The enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of God raises a standard against him. see Rev. 12:15-16 it shows how Satan is termed as sending a flood.

To a Hebrew sorrow covered a lot of things, and they spent much time seeking the joy and face of God. They actually saw sorrow as a place of Hell. only you were not there. God would give them by their faith ability to maintain continual joy if obey his law and words.

That is the key. always seeking God personally and pleasing him. We all are striving to read books to teach us truth but we also must walk in the light of them.

The Lord was showing me different things relating to gardening, husbandry, planting, seeds etc. Then he led me to the F.F.Bosworth healing book. The book was sitting opened to chapter 12 where I had left off long time ago. God is awesome, it was like a miracle.

The biggest thing that stuck in my heart was, God has to prepare a heart to receive the seed--word of God. Reading is like in the parable of the sower. the seed -- word must fall on cultivated ground. The word must be mixed with faith or it will rejected by one's choice and not profit. a certain preacher said once-- you can lead the animal to the trough but you cannot make them drink. They may look at it, (like reading) but they will just forget it and look for something else.

I used to write sermons outlines when in a church meeting. so I could go back and review it and apply it to my life. may add, faithful ministers sit a whole week preparing a good teaching for the people. If it is rejected it still remains a good seed for those who are getting ready for what God has for them.

with a good personal relationship with God (even hearing his voice ) you will find revival every day.

The first thing you will have to do is prayer. All you have been taught about God's word, must be discerned in a new light. You will have to decide, if you are ready to literally walk with Jesus. One must come out of this world's mind programming system ( they know not God or his ways.) To walk with Jesus means he will be your friend and be faithful to you. As a superior God he will only require from you which is for your best interests.

I told you not to touch the fire of sin. You will receive the burn and be told I told you but you didn't listen. Our fathers chastened us for their benefit, but God does it for our benefit. Heb. 12:10. God gives us incentives to strengthen us and benefit us. He supplies every need. it is the father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom. do some homework and find what salvation means. cross == forgiveness salvation means???

to give up something for God means he will replace it with something better --guaranteed.

I was a bass player, and a Deacon at a Spirit filled church. Never was a disciple but did go to a bible college students home for some bible studies in the past. Well in the church where I was eventually married, a brother who was actually a visitor for awhile was inviting whoever would come. My fiancée and I were all that came.

He introduced me to faith Assembly, gave me many Freeman books. I had a active Christian life already but learned important things from him. To name a few. Truth without error while believing the bible cover to cover. To walk by faith with God for (everything). A complete separation from the world and what it loves. Striving for ethical and righteous behavior daily. praise and worship of God daily in Spirit and in truth. Learning the meat of God's word and getting off the milk. maturity and perfection unto fullness of the Spirit. cleansed of denominational doctrine and teaching. Accepting healing ,deliverance, prosperity from God only. These are just some things he started with and have stayed with me about 45 years.

Hope that this all gives new saints some direction. It is important to be in the body of Christ that are teaching these things---If you are not able pray God will get you there. In God's providential way he will get you there.

My experience. While praying in tongues I had a vision in living color( most of mine are black and white.) I saw a spaceship flying over head at that time didn't understand it. It was a 200 mile distance from where we were living. We were going to where a Pastor Mike was coming. What God was showing was we would move to the main church up by the Cape Canaveral space center. We had marvelous confirmations to long to tell now. God bless.

I am a firm believer in the principles of faith. 5 of them. Here is how I remember them. On my arm is a (watch.) it is a acrostic. W-- will of God what is God's will.
A--ask-- and it shall be given you.
T-- terms of action. What I can do to show I believe.
C-- confession. saying God's word and promises.
H-- holding fast without doubt and wavering. Why? God is faithful. It is simple and how could it be any other way.
But------ there is another. If you do this you cannot lose. Sometimes because of this one, you may find that the gift of faith is in operation. God knows before we ask, right? Well that's why sometimes he drops blessings we need or want without asking. There is nothing my friend than like receiving double portions. For years this has happened to me.

Here is the key-- Mark 12:30-31. remember how the law brought curse and death? You had to obey. Well Jesus shows the two that pleases him. So much that if you do these your doing the rest. These are absolute priority and for success in faith to God. First get over guilt trip and walk in his steps. No condemnation to those who are ( in Christ Jesus.) cast down those bad imaginations. Why work for what is already yours. Devil is a great big lie teller. Dr. Hobart Freeman was never known as a liar. He was also human like all of us.
