Good Morning if anyone is still out there. Rolling Eyes

Not much happening here, winter is slowly approaching. I think were past the peak period when all the leaves change color and fall off the trees. Instead of raking leaves this year I decided I was going to mulch them up with a mower. My thinking is that this will break down the leaves quicker and become a fertilizer for the yard. I hope it works that way.

I keep hearing the media state that Americans are in a panic over the Ebola virus, but I have yet to meet anyone who is fearful and stressed out over this disease. In fact most people aren't even concerned. So who are they referring to that is in a state of Panic?

I heard one commentator state: "this is why it is so important to get your flu shot this year" with ebola being a threat.

He obviously lives in a cave, a flu shot would not stop ebola. They say this disease came from eating bats.

Anyway not much happening here in indiana.

Well better get ready for work. Hope everybodies doing fine we have another round of holidays getting ready to take place. How exciting. Very Happy

Gary

Still here bro, just waiting on someone to show some interest.

I've not spoken with anyone who is concerned about the Ebola virus, as far as being local here in America...hopefully many are concerned bout those who are contracting it and dying.

There was an election yesterday, I think they referred to it as a midterm, whatever that means. In Alabama it was for governor and several senate spots along with almost all the local and county offices. It will be so nice to not be bombarded with the 'attack' ads on TV, each candidate trashing the reputation of their opponent.

It's a beautiful time of the year, perfect for sitting out and reading a book and enjoying the fall. The other day I saw (for the first time ever) two buck deer locking antlers and battling over territory and does...I never get tired of seeing the beauty of God's creation in a natural setting.

Am I assuming correctly that you're still working with Home Depot?

That's our competitor! Yes I'm still working on blueprints or more like sketches trying to figure materials for customers. Its a real eye opener, working with the public and seeing the dollars being spent daily.

Its a total different environment to what I was use to. A number of people I work with are church goers, one guy in my area has a fancy tattoo of Jesus. Like I said its an eye opener. LOL

I think a lot of people have lost confidence in the government. You don't know who to believe and what is their motive. We can't get any advertisements on our tv so I missed all the ads. We can only get four stations that are mainly public tv, cooking shows, documentaries, etc. I get tired of seeing all the cooking going on though it makes you want to go in and eat something all night long. I'm down to 174 and trying to get to 165.

I'm glad your still writing here and keeping in touch with the old gang. I thought Marilyn was going to write something about Isis, but at this rate they'll be dead and gone before we know it.

You know we do have much to be thankful for, just by finding ourselves in this country where we don't see the constant wars going on. That must be horrible for many people to have to live through all that. I can't help to think its because of the influence of Christianity that we have enjoyed all of this. Slowly darkness is taking a seat though and I don't know if we'll see it all taken away in our lifetime or if God will give us one last great revival.

It seems like the older you get the faster time goes or is it just my imagination?

If it's your imagination then my imagination works similar to yours... Laughing I find it amazing that it's already 14 years into the twenty first century; seems like last week that everyone was all worked up about Y2K and storing up for mass upheaval...those 'prophets' sure failed the test.

Next week I start continuing education classes for tax season, I'm SO looking forward to it...NOT! I am grateful for a job, even if it's only for a few months of the year.

Competitor, eh? Lowe and behold, you must work for Jimmie Johnson. lol

I know what you mean it does seem like yesterday that y2k took place.

I don't know who Jimmie Johnson is, never heard of him.

They keep saying they want to change the tax laws to a different system then what we have. I think whatever takes place its to their advantage.

Just thinkin you must make a killin if you can live off of a few months of work. All kiddin aside taxes always seemed too complicated with all the rules and regulations. My wife loves working in that field but she's a wiz with math.

Well its back to the daily grind was going to comment on your other post but I am running out of time here. I got behind a school bus yesterday and ended up a few minutes late.

LOL Well now you know my vast knowledge of Nascar.

It was funny we had a company meeting this morning and there's a competition between stores, they announced to us the prize which is: The hood of Jimmie Johnson's Car will be brought to the store.

I had to smile when I realized this is who you mentioned.

Now if we win what are we to do with his hood, (sell it for scrap). LOL

" The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night."

Well we know how the sun can smite a man with its intense heat, but what about the "moon"?

Someone told me recently that when there is a full moon people don't sleep very good at night. It sounded like an old wives fable. I did a small straw poll asking people if they slept good during the last recent full moon and sure enough many said they did not sleep at all.

I became more curious about this phenomena and wondered if this had anything to do with this portion of scripture cited above. Can the moon affect men on the earth? We know for sure that the moon can affect the oceans tides, coming in and going out, but what about people?

My wife was standing near a lady and a nurse came us and the conversation was about the nurse looked exhausted and the lady asked if she had been sleeping well. The nurse went on to say, she worked at a nursing home on the night shift, and that, every time there was a full moon the elderly people in the nursing home would be up all night and would be roaming the halls, hanging out in the recreation room. The nurse stated this happened every time there was a full moon.

There is an event coming up in 2015 when we will have two full moons in the same month. This is where they come up with the phrase "once in a blue moon". When two full moons appear in the same month its called the blue moon phase.

I don't know if there is anything to all of this but I still wonder how can the moon smite a man by night?

No responses to the moon theory, huh?

Well next time we have a full moon just do some checking and see if everyone around you is sleeping ok. LOL

I am surprised at how many people I run into, "believe" that all this talk about global warming is bogus.

Scientists (not all), and politicians are convinced without a shadow of doubt that its true. The enviromentalists are behind much of this thinking. Someone told me that they are saying in the next 30 years the earth is going to heat up 1 degree.

Let's see we had the y2k scenario, next it was all the planets in our solar system was going to line up and cause calamity, now its global warming. The first two events and dates that came and went, with global warming there is no dates being set so it can be viewed as an on going problem that needs dealt with.

While the president seems to have his own personal agenda taking place, the country is slowly eroding away.

But as the scriptures declare: that those who thought they were wise became as fools.

God is in control let us never forget this and all events are because He and He alone willed them to be as they are.

I have noticed that since it now gets dark around 5 pm and isn't light until almost 6 am I am able to sleep a little longer each night. Yeah!

I've always heard that police and firemen are extra busy on full moon nights...I know it effects the activity of fish and wildlife, along with barometric pressure and temp changes.

I'm not a big sleeper never was. I can feel totally refreshed with five or six hours of sleep. Someone told me they read an article that said, they did a study and people who sleep only seven hours a night end up living the longest in life.

Don't know if that's true or not.

Were finally getting our first real snow. Its snowing outside and they are saying we will get two to four inches before morning, in our area. Its been a long time since we have got snow this early in the year, it has started in January for the last eight or so years.

Last year was our longest winter ever or at least it seemed that way. Their now saying this winter will be even colder then last years. We kept getting polar vortexes from up North.

Its hard to believe its already the middle of the month.

Its surprising in a society that has everything that so many young people will start shooting people. Some say its because of all the violent video games and others might blame guns, etc..

The problem is sin, there is a price to pay when people give themselves over to the flesh and sin.

Its always sad to hear that so many young students that have their whole lives before them resort to murder and the shedding of blood.

Everyone always makes the same statement when this takes place, "We didn't think it would happen here."

Its as in the days of "Noah", when violence fills the earth and every man does what is right in his own eyes, his thoughts are evil continually, as the Bible explains it.

Guns are so woven into the fabric of American society that kids are introduced to them from birth. And you're right about the videos and movies having an influence, but it accepted in every part of life including Christianity. Just this last Sunday as I was pulling out of the parking lot from church I was behind a pickup truck with stickers on the windows about the 2nd amendment and other gun propaganda.

I'm thankful not to be living in Buffalo, NY this week (anytime, actually)....It was 19 yesterday here and according to a regional weatherman it was colder in Birmingham, AL than Billings, Montana or Boston, Mass. Vortexes, how did we ever live without understanding about them...

Oh! there was an earthquake in west Alabama (three point eight) this morning...

And while I have your undivided attention, Rolling Eyes, I had some coffee from Costa Rica today that was gooooood!(on my coffee break)

I don't know what it is that is so fascinating about having a gun to shoot. I can say that with tongue in cheek because I enjoy it as well, but I have gotten rid of all my guns except I have a 4-10 that belongs to my brother in law. He needed the money so I bought it but he said he might buy it back some day.

They did a survey recently, they said: years ago they asked people why do you have a gun?, most replied: we use it for hunting and target practicing, they asked this same question again recently and almost everyone stated: I have it for protection.

I didn't know you guys had earthquakes. We have them occasionally they say were setting on a major fault line.

Yeah I'm glad were not up in all that snow either we got about 1 inch but its been very cold here.

I drank some coffee recently from starbucks from Jamaica it was so nasty I almost poured it out but I did not want to waste money so I drank it then I was buzzing around all day at work. LOL

My wife told me next time to ask for the blonde roast its not as strong as the dark roast. I was happy to see you crossed over to the real McCoy, and was trying something flavorful. Rolling Eyes

We have a coffee bar where I live and on cold mornings when I come down to the business center(here now) to use the computer I have a cup of coffee (they don't offer decaf). I noticed yesterday they had restocked for the holiday season and had some new kinds and I tried the Costa Rico blend. Think I'll go with hot chocolate today <grin>

James,

Just writing this to say how things have changed over the years, I realize your not implying anything here.

Anyway, I find it interesting its now called a "coffee bar", a good while back my wife and I wanted to get a coffee table for our living room, I did not know that now their called; "cocktail tables".

Every things geared towards a partying attitude in this country and they have to make it part of their sales I guess.

Where we live at, I.U. football is a big deal, when they have a game everyone floods the parking lot including the church lawn across the street with "tailgate parties". At a tailgate party everyone brings a RV or truck with camper shell, tons of junk food, a TV, and of course plenty of booze. The church has around a thousand cars parked in their lawn and parking lot and it only costs $10.00 (parking fee)to set up a party.

Things sure have changed since we were kids.

'Tailgating' is a huge part of southern college football tradition, and if I may 'correct' you...down here they grill up some mighty fine foods...pork, beef, chicken, deer... and gator and frog legs at the LSU home games. But your right as rain about the booze, it flows freely.

Word meanings certainly have changed through the years (just think of the word 'gay') and many words have more than one meaning. But what really annoys me is the using letters as abbrevations for words (I guess the internet and texting has helped with this latest fad, but seems like every sickness or disease has a shortened version...Lou Gehrig disease...ALS ) Only problem for those of us who don't get into all that is we don't understand a lot of conversations...Oh well! I guess I can't say too much, in my younger days I was part of a generation with brilliant sayings like..."cool", "far out", "keep on trucking", "groovy", and slang words for drugs like, pot, refer, mary jane, grass......guess the kettle and black pot story applies here, huh?

I know what you mean. You'd get a good laugh at where I work. We have morning company meetings and I don't even know what they are talking about.

For instance: FYI we need to be working on our PBM's, and if you need help one of the ASM's can show you on the computer. Well we didn't get our ssi this time. It goes on and on like this and I literally don't know what they mean. Sometimes I ask other employees who have been there for years about certain letters and what it means and I get; well I "think" it means......

I don't know why everyone has to communicate through "Acronyms". It may be the new wave of communication but I fill left out of the loop. It makes me wonder WWJD. Very Happy

The break down of society.

The newest generation now arising on the scene has been called: Generation "Like". This is kids that spend most of their time involved in the social media through facebook, twitter, etc.

It's important to many kids now to see how many people they can get to sign on to their facebook and then have them click on the Like button. Many big name advertisers have picked up on this and many will send gifts to these children to try and get them to promote their companies through this system of "Like" button pushing.

The problem here is that many of these kids see it as a way to become famous and be recognized. No matter how vulgar the content, it seems to not matter to anyone as long as someone will say they like their facebook page.

Its strange how many kids don't see education or hard work as important but what is the easiest way to obtain wealth and become someone famous through the social media.

This generation is totally lawless and despise any type of law official telling them what to do.

Secondly there is a gap between white and black Americans that is slowly widening. The black race seems to think law officials have it out for them, the white race does not see it that way with the exception of many of the generation "Like" kids joining in with the so called victims.

Could a land of freedom without Christianity slowly destroy itself?

Many today reject Christianity and they are being taught to look down at religion in many of our higher learning institutions in this land. Along with this, hinduism is being glorified as meditative and good for a man's well being.

If God does not give us a revival in this land we can all look forward to America as we know it eroding completely.

I would not want to be a police officer in this day and age. The Media fuels a lot of what is going on so they can have a racy story that will sell news. While appearing to portray the truth they end up making criminals look like victims.

We tend to think its fairly bad out there from the time we were children, but I think its going to get really bad or should I say "totally wicked" in this country before the time of the end. We all know its coming, Jesus said, "it will be as in the days of Noah".

I was surprised to hear there was a huge cover up concerning Elvis Presley.

http://video.foxnews.com/v/3914839106001/geraldo-rivera-repo rts-elvis-at-80/?intcmp=features#sp=show-clips

Rex Humbard once reported that months before his death, he set down with Elvis and they had a long discussion concerning the Lord. He said Elvis was weeping and crying at that time and said he wanted to be ready for the Lord's return.

I knew he did some drugs but did not know he was heavily addicted. Elvis would of turned 80 according to this news clip.

It's surprising how that man still has a huge following of people in this country.

Crime appears to be on the increase around the country but I don't know if its because we have a greater access to what is going on everywhere because of the media and internet. Maybe there was always been this much crime and it was kept localized.

Either way I find it easier to just read headlines because you can almost imagine the scenario that is included in the article.

Talk about being in the Lord is a "rest" is a great comfort these days. Promises like being under the shadow of His wings has a greater meaning as we see the world crumbling around us.

While the world is destroying itself I find the system of men following in the same path. During a recent documentary it was implied by Christian scholars the importance of our Jewish roots. They implied that Jews know the Lord God and that passover is a time of repentance and asking God to forgive them for their sins.

The problem is what Jesus said directly from His teaching contradicts what many are saying today. For instance, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father except by me.

Jesus Christ is the doorway into God's Presence no matter what biblical scholars are telling everyone while they contradict what Jesus said plainly.

While Love and Mercy are important it does not give everyone the right to explain away clear teachings in the Bible. The Old Testament points to Calvary, while the New Testament looks back at Calvary and what took place.

Jesus is God and His Words are what He is wanting those who can hear and see to listen to. While all the Bible is important the Words of Jesus Christ is God speaking directly to His people in this hour.

If anyone rejects the teachings of Jesus Christ there is no salvation as there is no other name under heaven whereby men can be saved. I know that's not politically correct but its what God's Word plainly teaches.

Gary

Amen.
Crime is increasing, the population is increasing, and wickedness is increasing; but "they that put their trust in The Lord..."

I had lunch Saturday with a older couple that are catholic, the sweet lady just kept on about Mary and devotion to her. She was telling me about all the 'sightings' of Mary to people, I tried to talk about 'Jesus' but it was all Mary, rosary beads, and Christmas for them. It's heartbreaking to see people deceived and unwilling to accept God's Word, they'd rather focus on the created (Mary) rather than the creator (Jesus), and books about appearances of 'angels' that confirm their beliefs.

Jesus IS the way, the truth, and the life...and NO man cometh unto The Father except through Him.

Political correctness is a big problem in society today.

We have an area around here where supposedly mary or somebody appeared to someone. Now they built this large motel outside of town so pilgrims can come and climb the hill to see the statue that is placed up there, in hopes of having another visitation. I think its some kind of shrine never seen it personally.

I did go to a catholic wedding years ago and the bride and bridegroom had to go around and kneel down and kiss the concrete statues toes. What was that all about?

Politically correct?

I just read where some woman made the statement that "all lives matter". She had to apologize to everyone because they said she was attacking the ferguson slogan, "black lives matter".

Its gotten totally out of hand lately.

Not to change the subject but its interesting that Greece is constantly making the news concerning economic problems. Greece is one of the countries mentioned in the Bible during the time of the Antichrist.

Why is everyone concerned about such a small country on an island? You never hear of Haiti's economic problems but it seems like everyone is always bailing out Greece.

The Bible does show that Greece will make war with the Antichrist. Anyway I just find it interesting concerning this small country being mentioned so much.

Speaking of small countries being mentioned? How about Israel? The rest of the world and nonbelievers can't 'get it' as to the importance of Israel and why so much attention is given them.

I was thinking about this and I can imagine it would take months for a massive army build up when the kings of the north move against Israel. I can imagine all the media playing this up, while the Jewish people would feel terrible with everything taking place.

Russia moving against the Ukraine is just a small foretaste of this future event concerning Israel.

Hi Gary,

Just a note here. Greece in Daniel is referring to the Empire they controlled, whereas Greece today is just the country. It is in the news as it is the test case so that the EU can have fiscal control over the EU countries.

Hi Marilyn

I am mainly referring to the event where it says Greece will make war with the Antichrist. I assume this is talking of the country and not the Empire of Greece. But will look this over to see what it says. Will get back later on this thought.

"If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes"

This promise is spoken by Jesus Himself. God is not a man that He should lie.

All things are possible to a believer.

Let's take God at His Words, and not let "others thoughts or opinions" tell us any different.

As we all grow a little older we can rest in the fact that God is well able to take care of us in any situation we find ourselves in.

Its to easy to lose a post while trying to type it out I wish we would have a feature that would save the post as you type. I just typed out a bunch of information and all I did was raise my keyboard in the air while my wife dusted under it and the post was erased.

Anyway back to my note, I just wanted to say I have been reading CS Lewis's book called a "Space Trilogy". Very far fetched but I have enjoyed it for casual reading.

I thought about reading his book on "The problem with Pain", but I have been going through a trial with my sciatic nerve and reading about pain just did not sound too appealing. When you get a little older you have to be more careful on what you lift or even how you lift it.

I heard a lot of pediatricians are telling people to take their business elsewhere if you refuse to get your kids vaccinated. More and more we see medical science being forced on people. I don't know how far they'll take it, but I eventually can see where the mark of the beast will be rejected by many and then it will be forced on people or guess what, you can't buy sell or trade. They will pass a law to force you to get it.

Anyway I'm just trying to see a comparison here of what is going on in the world and what will take place in the future. I could be wrong but its just the fact that laws are being passed to force people to do something they cannot afford.

I have heard of a number of people forced to get health care they cannot afford and because of the high deductible they in reality don't have any health care at all.

I saw a picture of a man with his head down in his hands looking frustrated. The caption read: Before this man could not afford health care, after Obama care, now this man must buy health care he cannot afford or be fined.

It just don't seem right for the government to force this on people but that's just one opinion here. What will they force on everybody next?

Gary

Gary some people (not me) write their notes in word documents and then cut/paste/copy over to forum. I remember doing it years ago but I'd have to look up how to do it, but it's not 'that' complicated.

Looks like measles are the latest 'scare', it is just amazing what influence the power of suggestion has. Concerning health, fear is the motivating factor, no one wants to suffer, especially with the flu. Even though I've seen reports on TV that says the vaccine is only 20-35% effective due to it being a strain that they didn't factor in when making the vaccine. But they sure spent millions and millions on commercials implying if you don't you're just being foolish.

[Ha. Ha.] I just looked up at a train going by and this post was applied...

As to the penalty for not having health coverage, so far they've not been that bad for the ones I've done, but wait a couple of years when the penalty increases...next year it goes to $325 or 2.0% excess household income over filing threshold. 2016 goes to $695 and 2.5% over filing threshold.

To be truthful with you I think their exaggerating this thing concerning measles. It started in california and now we have 100 cases over the united states. Not many compared to the millions that live here.

The media loves some juicy story that they can keep rehashing till they beat it into the ground. You would think they would be more concerned that some rich guy can rape 30 women and nothing is being done about it if you know what I mean. There's too many inconsistancies with the media their very deceptive and they stir up a lot of trouble to get a good supposedly story.

cut/paste/copy I should go that route if I wrote a giant post but its somewhat of a hassle. One quicker way but still extra time is type it out in word then use control c come over to the board and then use control v after you put your cursor in the box, thanks for reminding me about this. For now Ill take the easy route then gripe when I lose a post. LOL

Hope your doing good buddy, I'll be glad when winter passes this year looking forward to Spring. Too tired this morning to worry about all the typos here, but got to go to work. Have a great day.

Well we woke up this morning buried in 1 inch of snow. I hope this is all we get this year. My wife noticed some trees are starting to bud already. So hopefully its going to be an early spring.

They showed a clip of the annual ground hog ceremony, the mayor was holding the ground hog and it bit his ear. The little ground hog probably thinks all this ground hog day stuff is ridiculous.

Anyway it has been a fairly mild winter in this part of the country. Their getting all the big snows up north, where all those Northerners live.

Hope every bodies staying warm.

This has been a mild winter so far, except for a couple of days with single digits...supposed to be around mid twenties tonight, but we're getting into the fifties during the day. Still February and March can pack a punch. One whole inch, huh? Better dig out the snow blower and salt...lol

Opening time, I'd better get some coffee going and buckle up for a big day...

Were going to be in the fifties today which is quite unusual for this time of the year. Everyone thinks were going to have an early Spring but no one knows for sure on this.

I thought about you crunching all those numbers, your probably in the peak of the season there. I must admit I always wait till the last day to do any tax work. I always wonder whats the hurry. I guess a lot of people get big checks back and look forward to that.

Talk about secular books, I always enjoyed the book, To Kill a Mockingbird. I heard recently the lady who wrote it had another book that goes along with this one and they are finally publishing it after all these years. I did not realize or pay attention, but they said the story was originally set in Alabama back in the day.

I love the characters as well as the children that are portrayed in the story. But I hate the thought of buying a book with no where to put it since my book cases are maxed out. We can buy about any used book here for a dollar now at the half priced book store, books lose their value the minute you buy one new at a regular bookstore. I'm still thinking about getting a kindle which William talked about, but don't know if I want one that has color or one that is black and white. I like the idea of storing hundreds of books without a bookcase. I keep thinking the black and white one will become obsolete soon and they will have some new, latest and the greatest device that is better. You know how electronic devices are, here today and gone tomorrow.

On some books I'll always keep, we have friends who read the Bible on a kindle, I guess I'm old school on that one I like the big o leather Bible when it comes to reading the Word.

Won't keep you any longer you probably have a long line backed up wanting service and here you are reading a blog. LOL

Take care and may the Lord bless your work.

Gary

Well if you haven't heard the President was in Indianapolis a few days ago. I was surprised at his recent comment, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. That is when he compared the recent event where the pilot was burned alive by Isis. He tried to compare this to the inquisitions that took place in the middle ages.

Whatever happened in the past is done and over and now we live in so called modern times. While some people look to the past to slam Christianity, the fact is sin is still sin. The only thing we see by this recent event is that men are still as sinful and evil as in the beginning. Before the time of Noah when evil and wickedness ruled the earth it is no different today. Sin and wickedness is ever present and will be here until Jesus returns and sets things strait.

Burning someone alive is horrible, but is all the fleshly sin in America any different? Sin is sin no matter what color it is, whether it be cruel or fleshly let's face the facts, men are sinful and need a Savior to set them free.

Jesus said do you think those Galileans were more sinful, but except you repent you will all likewise perish or what of the tower of Siloam that fell on those 18 men, were they more sinful except you repent you will likewise perish.

In these days when men are so busy too busy for family because mammon is so important in every ones life, its important to always remember this life is only a puff of smoke long, compared to eternity.

I appreciate any prayers you can send my way. God may be opening some doors here soon. Don't know exactly which way to go and a lot of thoughts are crossing my mind. May quit my job and then maybe not. I think there's a lot of opportunities for ministry to out of churchers who know the Lord and maybe to some who don't know Him. When God opens the door you know your in His perfect Will.

Anyway could use all the prayers or intercessions I can get. I don't want to step out in the flesh but want the Lord to direct my steps. Jesus said, without me you can do nothing and I'm a firm believer in this. Sorry can't go into a lot of details at this time.

Otherwise not much going on, the temperature has dropped again but at least its in the 30's. This has been a mild winter and I'm glad for that, not much snow nor ice at this point.

Better get ready for work. May God Bless every ones week.

One more thing I do appreciate what everyone shares here you always feel like there's someone out there striving to understand the way of the Lord and then doing it. Its quite refreshing believe me.

Its look like Old Alabama is hitting the nightly news. Sounds like Sodom and Gomorroh is moving into the Bible belt. Its funny how the media has turned this into a civil rights movement, well it shouldn't seem too odd since the liberal media is behind all manner of wickedness.

We can definitely look at the world and see the signs of the times. Putin just takes what he wants, while the rest of the world can do nothing about it. More Sanctions is just a joke.

Don't know if everyone has heard but Anti-Semitism is on the rise in this country. Of course it rarely makes the news. This country is going more and more to legalizing a mind altering drug. Everybody keeps talking about the medical value, but lets face the facts its a "mind altering drug" that affects the way a person thinks while drugging them up in a sort of stupor.

Oh BTW lets force everyone to get medical insurance and while were at it force them to get a vaccination. What about forcing them to get a flu shot is that next? Hey might as well force them to take a mark it will stop crime. Sure it will.

Just wondering here how far will it go, it may go no were but its obvious the broad path is getting wider full of the party goers who reject God.

Anyway back to my main thought, that it was sad to see another State turning to Sodom and its ways.

I guess we all realize that it will be as the Days of Noah before the time of the end.

Not to defend the state of Alabama but the majority of the residents here still oppose same-sex-marriage, it's the federal government and federal judges who are forcing it upon us. Yes, there are people in line to get the marriage license but even the majority of the judges are refusing to issue them and the head of Alabama's judicial system, Roy Moore has issued a statement telling the judges not to preform any more court house marriages. He's the state supreme court judge who refused to remove the ten commandments from the court house about ten years ago.

It will become more and more acceptable as 'society' changes...due to influence of t.v., movies, and media. Just as people living together without being married has become common place over the last 50 years.

But what sayeth The Lord?

"I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:1-2

"But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof." Romans 13:14

I think sodomites are actually a very small minority but the media is brainwashing everyone to think its some large group of people. Most of the TVs so called stars are sodomites.
The liberal media is totally antichrist and they support anything that is wicked.

Christians are so divided over doctrines its hard to rally the troops where they have a greater influence in society.

Thankfully God is still showing mercy to this country or it would totally fall.

But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” 10 But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

Amen, and So be it.

I've only heard bits and pieces concerning this so I probably don't know what I'm talking about but didn't I hear that the judges are actually issuing the licences but just not preforming the actual marriage ceremony?

If this is the case, what more does a person need if they have the licence? Is it mandatory that there be a ceremony?

btw, Gary, how is the new situation going? Did you quit your job? I'm trusting that God gives you wisdom!

Blessings,
William
