This is a testimony of facing the price and yet coming out victorious.
years ago my wife and I found that there was a meeting on Fla. West coast. We lived on the East coast. Bro. Kitchens meeting. First calling him and found that I would be able to play bass for them. Was told bring bass but they would provide the Amp. It was a long ride to get there but not a problem as I traveled many times before that. Long story short, the amp was a piece of garbage but I did the best I could. It was literally horrible.
After a meeting, and a little fellowship it was late. on the road after midnight. Driving for hours in the dark after a busy day. My eyes were heavy. My wife hollers David. I look and I see and holler J-e-s-u-s. After pulling over into the right lane and wrestling for control, The car headed for us speeding past us in our left lane. It was a two lane then large medium and our two lanes. He was on the wrong side.
The story sounds horrible doesn't it? When we look back in our past negative experiences, we can see a positive thing. When you serve the Lord, you will find the Lion's den, or fiery furnace, ends with joy and a dance. You will see God makes you victorious. You will find walking or driving by faith reveals God is faithful. I'm crying now-- without him we would be dead.
faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.
