My name is James and I'm a christian. I discovered this website yesterday and was blown away that "faith walk"people still stay in touch with each other and are able to do so after our past common experiences and failures. I was a member of "THE" body of Christ in Clanton, Al. from 1981 through 1989. I listened to most all of the FA ministers, and dearly loved Bruce and Jim Oswalt. I attended the Birmingham meetings Jim taught at for several years and even traveled to Ok. with him to one of his meetings there. His son, Jeff worked for me briefly. I remember Bro. Freeman admonishing us about throwing the baby out with the bathwater, I think many of us did, dispite the warning. The teachings we recieved were awsome and I've not found anything close to the depth and revelation gotten from all the tapes and books he left us with...Yet with that said, I fully agree with many people who came away from that period of our lives hurt and confussed and still to this day wonder what went wrong. But to totally turn our backs on what God taught us through that man because we became legalistic and put him on a pedestal and thought shrimp were like grub worms because he thought that. Well, hello, hindsight is 20-20 and now, hopefully, most of us know the difference between God's annointed teachings and personal opinions. But brethern in The Lord, the TRUTH has not and will not change, FAITH is required of us to overcome, walk in health, prosper, grow in Christ, and to please Him. As we learn to Love God and each other, let's not forget nor neglect what's been delievered unto us...The bathwater, not the baby goes out.

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,”
