I'd like to have a thread where just good news or maybe just something funny can be posted. Maybe not even religious. Or even . . . (looks around nervously) a funny clip from the movies. I sincerely hope I'm not offending anyone but I think we can too far in eschewing the world. If everyone rises up in righteous indignation then we can always remove it.

I don't know about you guys but I need some good news. The good news at least in this corner of the far east is that the military has everything under control. A good British stiff upper lip with decorated soldiers that know how to march properly . . . what more could you ask.

This is the nightly border closing ceremony between India and Pakistan. A lot of people come to watch and it probably won't happen but I'd like to be one of them.

I have thought about posting this for some time and not really sure if I ever did. Apologies if I have. It's still worth watching again. Some of the comments are very funny as well.

Well sorry but I can't resist. Does everyone know who Rowan Atkinson is? He is a very funny British comedian. His primary character is the bumbling Mr. Bean. Chariots of fire if you didn't know is a movie about a long distance runner.

Ahhh. Abbott and Costello. You just don't get comedy like that anymore. I've been watching some of Charlie Chaplin's stuff. I know he was a different person in real life but he sure was funny.

I used to be a truck driver so I was always using bathrooms all over the country. I saw this sticker and thought if I was still driving I would buy 50 of them and put one on every toilette I saw. I bookmarked the page and every time I saw it I couldn't help laughing. This is a pin but you can get stickers too. Now that I think about it I may buy a bunch for next time I travel. Put one on toilettes that a tourist would use.
