The bible is a foundation for truth and accurate teaching. Those teachers who teach the word understand that proper analysis is the only way for revealing what the scriptures are.
Then what? Most education is a foundation. The dangers are false teachings, opinions, errors. etc. For a person to discern with only their mind, is at best a guess. They can be right or wrong. Arguing, debate, division is not necessary.
Those who hear something and instead of taking in the point are cheated of the blessing because they are looking for something wrong. Jesus was a good listener, he was superior because he knew everything the words of God meant. Wisdom is the key to all the knowledge of God. our great teacher the Holy Spirit is the one who helps everything come out perfect and right.
The immaturity and lack of a loving Spirit will not edify but pull down (bite and devour) each other. it is important to note that the application of the word to our life is far more greater the blessing than just knowledge. Example-- we may know faith yet it must be active in our lives. I am not pointing fingers here.
faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.
